If you hold a Class 3 for two years you can challenge a Class 1 for $4000 CAD. With a Class 2 you can drive up to 75 passengers its basically a Class 4 and 3 combined because with a 3 you can basically drive anything except a truck with a trailer and passengers for hire with a Class 2 think of it as a Class 3 license with passengers endorsement because remember Class 3 is any vehicles with 3 axles or more buses have 3 axles but it can't be a trailer and passengers for hire that's the only difference. Its a CDL Class B
Hey, you didn't even make half the minimum wage if you make all the deductions but you had fun. If you are looking for a better pay, your delivery job pays 3 times more. The choice is yours but my advice is to combine them both.
A dress shirt would be best. Smart casual pants, not jogging. I tip according to general appearance, cleanliness, driving skills from passenger perspective: no sudden braking, acceleration or lane shifting unless warranted.
If the driver is dressed like a bum I am concerned their driving skills may be at the same level. Additionally, if the driver does not care enough to bring some professionalism and class to their work then why would anyone tip a half hearted effort.
Sergei, Uber does not pay more. It just has more calls than Lyft. I think you finally got something you love doing. Let us see where it takes you but I am sure you won't regret trying ridesharing.
The train cars move all over North America to were they are needed. Sometimes they will run different railroad engines in & out of the US. The only thing that changes is that at the border the crews are switch off for American or Canadian citizens.
Kinda seems there is a glut of rideshare drivers vs vacancies for higher paid experienced big truck drivers!!?? But its obvious your having fun toying and sharing your experiences this new woke industry. Rock on Capt Sergei, such a great fun educational and informative channel
Accordions in Canada are about as popular as glockenspiels, and out of curiosity which chain configuration did you employ for the two wheel barrows and spades? Hey great vid as usual Captain
Save up $2-$5k cash for savings, you never know when you'll need it to survive for a few months from injury or some other emergency. Boggles my mind that people will buy toys without any emergency savings.
I drove both Lyft and Uber in Toronto on and off since January 2018. I never put stickers on my car even they say it is a requirement by the city. Riders have a picture of your car and complete information. The sticker won't make a difference. If you decide to put them, please leave them there for good. If you try to remove them, you may damage the defrost line in the rear windshield. No one enforces these rules.
Canadian Pacific Railway and Kansas City Southern merged in 2023 to form a single company. Kansas City Southern has a Mexican branch (KCS de Mexico), so now there is a rail company that spans Canada, the US and Mexico. The rail cars from KCS de Mexico are no different than rail cars from CP at this stage, since they all belong to the same company. No idea why there are CSX auto racks, though. These rail cars generally seem to be travelling many places.
@@johngreydanus2033I live in Ontario and about 10 years ago my son broke a leg and we called an ambulance. We received a bill of about $50 two weeks later. I can get to the hospital from home on Uber for $15. So, there is something to this story.
