I worked only once with STO products many years ago, I had to level the wall top of an infinity pool and bought full depth mortar from STO. I think it could be hit by a missil and still stand so when I saw that you were using STO for exterior plastering I watched the vid and was not disapointed. Thank you for posting, now I know that STO makes this product and use it with confidence in my next job.
Good advise / application advise for us who do not spray texture all the time . I’m going to rent a machine and spray my texture tomorrow. My old welding class had a sign on the Wall; “ Repitition is the mother of skill”🤙🏽
Don’t waste your time with a small gun(more trips back to the bucket)man up and use a real gun… you’re talking about weight…you wouldn’t have made it in the days of heavy weight mud. I did commercial work and never would have used a baby gun on a lift…guess what , you can adjust lift to the perfect hight for whatever you’re doing
Taping angles with a bazooka, a lot of guys flush with the 3" because of the excess mud. I like using the 2", just have to clean a little more mud off the wall. I guess you could 3" first then finish with a 3.5 or 4" flusher.
What dust extractor do you use on the planex 2. I’ve been looking at the Hilti VC 150-6 XE because it is so much smaller than the festool ct 36 AC and it has a bit more suction than the festool (I doubt there’s a noticeable difference tho). One downside on the hilti is there’s no adjustable suction like the festool, I guess if I was sanding wood it could be essential. I’m looking at the hilti but I’d like to hear what u use. Thanks
I appreciate your honest reviews, that’s why I bought my dewalt drywall sander. It’s a bit of a tank, but man its sanded countless jobs and it’s still going strong. I trust your reviews and experience. I still haven’t pulled the trigger on hilti, Mirka or festool. I would love to hear your thoughts now in 2024.
I'd like to see Bosch's dust extractor, drywall sander, 150 mm, and 125 mm sanders. I don't own any Bosch power tools, and for sanders and dust extractors I'm running Festool. I have heard some good things about their dust extractors though.
DANG BRO you have 4 bazookas? haha I see yo got Columbia and a drywall master right? how you like the drywall master? I think out of all the quick clean heads I like that one the most, fastest and no tools to open that head up to clean
Yup the only issue is the gaskets were out pretty quick on all the removable heads so to get leaky. I like them both the drywall master has that cool needle storage too on the spindle.
Yes over all bang for your buck throttle box all the way. The tape tape hurt my wrist a bit since it requires a twisting motion so I didn't like it for that reason. The mud shot was easier to use but super hard to fill since it's pressurized.
