I got the same rig , I tried doing 1 coat over a an already sanded level 4 , for a level 5, but the mud dried too fast and left it orange peel ish. I used Hamilton red finish mud, but some people say I should be spraying all purpose. I am going to try your 2 spray and a blade method. What mud did you use?
I thought about doing this, just seem like a waste tho when you have to do multiple coats versus having one Big roller and two wipers. The fastest I’ve seen to do is mask, and spray with a graco texture machine with two wipers, but I wasn’t a fan of that process.. builders always want lvl. 4 over here though (while expecting lvl.5😂)
greetings colleagues, I saw in your video clips that you own a Hilti exoskelet exo-s model, I'm interested in your opinion on that product, I intend to buy it, so I'm looking for the experiences of craftsmen who own it, it's quite expensive (in Bosnia and Herzegovina it costs about 2000 dollars ) so I wouldn't want to waste money, I do painting work and often grind with a giraffe, so it creates a really big burden on my shoulders. Thanks in advance
You mention that the Mark IV can't do a flat finish that only needs sanding without having to tool it first. Is that something the Mark V can do? Or is it no possible to eliminate the tooling step for flat finishing?
