Shame that a great orchestra was wasted on another piece of Eurotrash. Operas are famously expensive to produce, so who funds this garbage? Would be interesting to find out.
Quand vous écoutez cela en vous levant le matin la journée sera belle.❤😊 Quelle voix divine qui vous transporte dans un autre monde d'amour et de beauté. Il a une voix trés particuliére❤ MERCI INFINIMENT
I had heard of it, but never seen this Opera: it is the perfect Romantic Comedy: some fabulous music, and a great libretto with a really good mix of comedy, depth, and interesting characters. I liked this production and casting. I have no idea why this isn't in every Opera House's repertoire. I particularly liked the Overture, the Entr'acte, the close of the First Act, the Opening of the 2nd Act, and Anezka's scene after she had sent both her prospective lover and her cousin off together. A perfect happy Finale also. Glad to have seen this!
Thank you OperaVision for this forgotten masterpiece in such beautiful edition. The music, the singers, the dancers, the choreography!! This opera should be worldwide played! Appreciation!
The use of lighting and colour was absolutely beautiful. The drowning scene was absolutely stunning and very creative - even though the scene had such peaceful hues of green and turquoise and blue you can feel the peril in every second. The solo singers were also phenomenal! I really hope this will eventually released on physical media/blu-ray
I've seen here in San Francisco red things were viewed as troubled things in armpits that needed the crutches of opiates associated with posttraumatic and postsurgical pain medications. Democrats here associating Republican Reds with the substance of Soviet absolutist and statist preoccupation with people-ignoring governance issues. It is a cartoonish ignorance of the purported real issues that the "people that really count" find important. Should there be splinters in the toilet paper too? I'm sorry if I get a little offensive with the jingoistic American anti-Communist attitude a bit.
The opening of the two jelly donuts, with the hard shell bagel coming in, but it was later complicated by more archetypal psychological analysis consistent with Jungian approach. Freud had a beautiful blonde mother. Adler did not. Adler could not identify with Freud's approach to juvenile sexual attitudes. According to Adler, sexual issues were not as important as they were to Freud. Adler had a more complete and more complex psychological picture not possible with Freud. With Freudian analysis, it is all about shaking everything down to the point where it is all a thing of dwelling always at the hips, and The Hips Don't Lie, as Shakira would sing.
I really enjoyed hearing Ms. Sobotka in this music. She has a very strong voice which you need to get through this role. And it’s STEADY. A rarity in these days of the ubiquitous wobbly soprano.
@@clefnoteproductions6695 Some sort of mix-up somewhere. In the closing credits Marta Matuszewska-Mazanek was given as the name of the Clorinda soprano.
