Why do not you just use vector made in corel draw or illustator and change it to 3D object later? It is done like in 1 minute and the result is way better? :D

This tutorial is great but at around 3:51 I lost the plot a bit, every time I try it I get a copy of the entire face of the logo, instead of just an orange outline of the sharp edges. Am I doing something wrong? Any explanation appreciated since I'm stuck on this step.
it is not working at all for me. I have zero change of surface after doing every single step. Any idea why ? my picture is the same, its a png, black and white, I did subdivide twice a lot. put in UV etc...
Hello! Nice video. Can you make a video on how to do the same thing but add different heights to the image. Example the emblem to a certain height and the S to an even higher level. By thickness, like the base would be 1 cm height and the S to a 1.5 cm height.
can someone please tell me why my imported SVG logo has jagged lines but the actual svg is smooth?! I've been searching for days with no answer or solutions. Tempted to switch to Maya or c4d
what is the pixel to meters conversion? I nothing appeared when I uploaded my logo to the displacement settings.. does the plane need to be the exact size as the logo dimensions?
Hi i use blender 4 and after i delete the faces and flat it out and i get stuck at 3:21 How to extrude the mesh? thanks...i press E+Z but Z is wireframe solid and material preview option and nothing happens when i press E+Z pls help
It normally fails due to unfinished process or incorrect layout. When I first started it failed over and over again, but after googling I found it was caused by me, now I have no issues with it.
Great tutorial, thanks! If anyone else is having trouble cutting out holes with boolean because the outside mesh disappears, try switching the solver from "exact" to "fast". It ended up working for me.
You can just press CTRL+G and select coplanar on the top, invert selection with CTRL I and delete. You don't need to select all the vertices. And for the edge, you just need to click the edge press ctrl g and select amount of faces around an edge.
