Smokey's CNC Woodworks will take you along as I make signs, home décor, parts for other projects, furniture and much more....The machine I'm working on is a DIY 4' X 4' CNC Router that took me about 10 months to build (that day job gets in the way) and I'm still adding to it and making changes as I go. Occasionally we may slide over to the wood shop and do a build or project which will still probably include the CNC because it is such a great tool.
Brian great to see you again. You might want to pick up a used Windows 7 machine for a back up after you get yours running. They are going for dirt cheap. If I lived near you I would help.
Hi Brian, It's good to see you again. Thanks for the update. You definitely have had a lot happening. TFS! Blessings to you my friend. Have a blessed week. ✝🙏🏼💕
Life happens and nothing you can do but go with the flow! Sounds like you're doing that and can't wait to see you back! Prayers for you and your family! Hang in there!
Life does happen, my career has put me up front and personal with a lot of loose and life lost, my dad doesn’t truely understand how I’m understanding of my mom’s situation
Just glad to see you back, glad the ticker survived all the hassles, been worried was so. Long!! Looking forward to see you carve again in your custom built shop. Guess a shop tour be another video idea!
Hi Brian. Thx for the update ! Regarding you stuck CD drive, use the paper clip trick another commenter mentioned. I’m wondering if your tech guy left a win 10 dvd in there. Worst case, remove the power connector from the drive, which will take it out of the equation.
I’m thinking there is a a win 10 cd in there and the cd rom fried, I’m taking it back to him and I don’t care how he gets it fixed, I’m just ready get going again
Brian, yes you been gone for ever.. but I didn't forget ya... because ya made me one of your CNC project which was a (CROSS with a US FLAG theme). Hope you and your family are Well?.
Most of us are well, (my mom, cancer) is what im referring to, lots of driving to doctors appointments and treatments, it’s all good, it’s all a part of life, I’m just glad I’m retired and able to help
Well I’ve tried that and nothing is happening, I think it is truely fried, im about to the decision that im just going to have to get a new computer to make this happen
@@SmokeysCNCWoodworks the paper clip is not for a switch. It pushes a small lever inside about 3/16 " movement. Straight in. Should just push the tray out 1/4". Then you can pull it open. It takes a little pressure to push it in to over-center the lever inside. With power off. Of course that only gets it open.
@@SmokeysCNCWoodworks I know the windows is a headache. If you continue, make sure no other cd in the drives 1. Change bios F1, usually, to boot from cd. Choose boot to OS That should give win7. Then delete the hard drive contents. 2. Repeat and choose install. Tell it to format C. Then reboot into bios and change the boot back to C. Its drawn out but can be done. Plus it's a pain.
I always think about you and was hoping you were OK, a couple of times I commented on Arms family channel but never heard anything. I'm glad that you are ok..
It's great!! Only opinion I have is the head seems a little too long, but that's just me! I love it! I'm making small ornament size ones with crafting items. I don't measure, just eyeball it. You could sell those and I bet they would sell like hotcakes! Yes, please make the snowman video!!
Gave this to my son & happy to say he's fully committed to the Lord & now he's living it. ❤ Thank you for using your talents..🙏for you and your town after all the devastation around you. When i heard Sulfur was struck I've been praying for y'all.
what kind of paint do you use? and do you mix it with anything? Sometimes the paint bleeds and it's difficult to get rid of without sanding everything away. thanks
Brian, this is a really nice build. How has it performed for you? I'm about to build a DIY 5'*10' table with NEMA motors. Appreciate your parts links, but done are now dead due to the age. But having the part names helps!
Well, lol, I got a new laptop and got the software installed and going.....wired the CNC machine back up, went to do a little test drive and the shop computer had the blue screen of death!!! I've sent it to a guy and expect it back and running before long....Thanks for watching!
Nice. Been watching others paint signs to ideas on how to do some things. You're the first I've seen using a small airbrush and I think that's great. Lots of control and less overspray into other areas which means less sanding. Good job!
I have V-carve and had a pc go out on me. I was able to download all the software I had paid for already on to the new pc with no issues. I hope your transfer of software and videos goes smoothly. Good luck brother man.
It was good to see a notification that you had a video out. My grandson is doing precision machinist in college he graduates in May. He's also a certified EMT he's 19. This is one proud granny. It was good to see the video. Will prayer you can transfer your software and get up and running. Can't wait to see more videos. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
That is awesome, you know that is how i made it through college, I worked as a EMT all the way through college and from EMT to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.....Thanks for watching!!
I don't blame you one bit for staying out of that kind of heat! You look good. I hope you can get everything back up and running. "Technology is a wonderful thing . . . , when it works."
