Wow!🤯 I wanna know more about them side scoops that light up!! 😆 🤣 love the 90s and Love the mustang for all its diffrent kinds, Cobras, R, Saleen, Roush, Steeda, Mach1, Boss, Shelby, CS, Darkhorse, Bullitt and I'm sure i missed one or two lol
I very much appreciate Steve's attention to detail. Back in 2017, the price points were very attractive. We shall see you what happens for the future. Everyone I've spoken with say that the Saleen has the best power delivery and track manners. Others may have more horsepower and better strip times, but it's really road course times that we're looking for which separates an automobile from a refined automobile. Think about it, Europeans have been using road courses to test car performance from the beginning. Saleen rules! Of course, a very good driver helps. I love these cars, and I'm not even sure why. Just keep cranking them out with attention to performance and very tasteful detail because a GT350R just appeared in my rearview mirror.
This video is 5 years old and I'm still amazed how Steve explains all these little nuances that he knows we all notice, appreciate and would like to own. There's a cool factor here, but I can't put my finger on it and that's what keeps my interest.
They just know how to upgrade a car. They upgrade it all around including interior and exterior and its actual functional mods that help when you track it. It's just an overall much better car than a standard gt. It's a great car for the buy it and forget it type or the type that only wanna do power mods and want everything else to already be sorted. They hold strong value too.
How he opened the door on the cop car at the end. Oh this is police brutality wait til my lawyer hears about...oh lemme grab that door for you officer 🤣
Dude. I specifically remembered this specific video when I watched it around 2013 as a 13 year old. I was fascinated with Roush Mustangs and I remembered the ending. I know which one I'd take home. This was inSANE nostalgia
Does anybody know the names of the soundtracks? I've been looking for these tracks for ~18 years! The soundtrack at the start was last heard in 2012, on the video of Chris Harris track testing the Deltawing!
When I was a kid back in the early 90's I used to get rides to school in this very Saleen. It belonged to my best friends dad, Kerry Peterson. This car is SC #12.
I think it would be great for Saleen's publicity if they found and made more videos like this, showing their cars on a real race track. Showing that they tune for handling and durability.
This wasn’t my first exposure to anything Saleen (that was from a McDonald’s Monopoly game commercial where 2 Saleen Mustangs were one of several prizes on that game), but it WAS my first exposure to anything Saleen in action as well as Mr. Saleen himself and his philosophy of what a Mustang could do.
Actually cheaper to build your own. You can still buy the original Saleen body kit from the Saleen website still for only 1300$. From there just by an old 1994 v6 and put a newer engine inside. Most of the original Saleen Mustangs from 1994 started out as v6 anyway.
It’s from experience and I guess I could be called a mechanical engineer I build enough stuff. They are both great but service life and usage is what I go off. You’re what we like to call a troll. The saleen is though a larger 2.3 screw blower vs an older tried and true Eaton m90 which is small in my option on the supercharger size. But we are talking a smaller displacement v8.
