I've had the pet model for about two weeks and it is a beast picking up cat litter. I was going to get a Sebo until it didn't pick up the sample cat litter I brought from home. All because it picks up the store's "dirt" doesn't mean it will work on your specific type of dirt. I especially like the "amber light" that tells you it needs another go in that particular spot until the light turns white again. I take off all the "on board" things that, in my opinion, just add unneeded weight to an already heavy machine. It runs very smooth and gets all the cat hair, litter, etc. that my kitty can throw at it. I had a Miele canister for many years and was just tired of dragging it around after me. Very happy with this purchase.
Minor Correction: The R30D.8 has 2 warning lights; full bag and stopped roller brush. It does not have a "filter" light. The filter light is on the R40 model only.
What is the service schedule on these? Do you bring them in annually for cleaning, lubing, etc.? What are you supposed to do? Also, as an aside, does anyone know way commercials are popping up on these videos if you are already using an ad blocker on your browser???
Are you sure this is the only vacuum on the market with both a direct air motor and a bypass motor? I thought the Kenmore 31140 and 31150 have both a direct air motor and bypass motor as well?
Wow. I’m curious if the hard floor brush from the vacuum airstream AS100 would fit in the stick cordless one? My floor is super uneven and I find this is the only brush that makes a good job in my floor, but I want a cordless stick vacuum!!!
I charged it but when I put the battery in the lower light blinks fast for a few seconds then turns off. The vacuum does not work if I turn it on. Is it a bad unit?
I bought this a week ago. Beyond love it. Super easy to use, it’s very light and quiet, cleans super well. The power head is insane and vibrates the dirt out of the carpet around it. Plus it has a 10 year warranty on it. Best vacuum I have ever and will ever own.
I'd say try them both if you can. They are both excellent. Consider comparing size and cost of their bag and, cost of accessories and attachments. I prefer to be able to remove my brush roller like Sebo offers, but the indented cutting line for the non-removable Miele does work.
By far, one of the WORST uprights ever made! As heavy and bulky as a Kirby, but plastic instead of metal and no self propelled wheels. The bags are even more expensive than Kirby bags at $5 a bag, and there are no bulk packs like Miele offers for the FJM and GN bags. Doesn't clean nearly as well as a Kirby or any of the Miele powerhead canisters with the SEB228 or SEB236 powerheads. Plus the hose doesn't have as much airflow as the Miele canisters, and the hoses becoming deformed and needing replaced is a issue with these. Extremely overengineered and far too expensive. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
All depends on what options you select, standard or retractable. Also depends on retro or new build. Most range in the $3,500-$4800 range or cheaper. We only install the premium brands and parts for maximum longevity and so the end user has zero issues.
Cordelss delss proven it doesn't last longer then a cord vacuum cleaner does specially you can't go all day with cordelss everything proven its 30 minutes specially bagles proven it Causes health problems specially bagged cord vacuum cleaners proven it can go all day with out looking at the time
Thank you so much for sharing this! I'm looking for a good vacuum for my cleaning business. I live by the beach so the sand is a HUGE issue when cleaning the properties. You know time is money specially when it comes to cleaning business and a good vacuum can really make a huge differencein timing. I almost bought the bissel until I watched your video. Thank you, this was extremely helpful.
Anyone watching this, DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!!! He is FULL of BS in this video! I have used both the genuine Original Miele GN bags and the generic HEPA Cloth GN bags in my Miele canisters, and NONE of them have been damaged or gotten dirty whatsoever by using the generic bags. The only issue I have noticed over the years is, whenever I have helped someone who has had issues with their Miele bag leaking dirt into the bag chamber, is that a lot of times people will forget to click the bag into place when opening the bag door, causing the bag to not seal properly to the bag door tube and then the dirt will leak into the bag chamber instead of going into the bag. That is likely what happened in this customer's machine. However, this issue can happen with BOTH the genuine and generic bags. And while the bag material is a bit thinner on the generic bags and the dust will clog the pores on the generic bags faster, the bags will not leak dust and suction can be restored by taking the bags out and giving them a good vigorous shake outdoors, then reinstall into the vacuum. Save yourself the money and go with the generic, you won't regret it, especially if you have lots of pet hair to clean up.
Y'all need make more bag vacuum cleaners specially bagles are more hamrfull for your health I did had bagles vacuum cleaner now I got bag vacuum cleaner specially bags been proven they are not harmful
I like this style vacuum but Im having a hard time discerning between different brands with the same model. There's so many on the market! I like this Hornet but there's also the Iwoly. It looks exactly the same and around the same price point. It does have more reviews on Amazon (2,600+).
A Canister vacuum allows you to really get in to the tight small places. Long hose and more versatility. Also the weight of the vacuum rolls around VS pushing the upright.
i mean, you really want to compare YEARS of engineering with Mieles FIRST cordless? how about mentioning the motorised head om dyson? the washable HEPA filter om dyson? miele has a NOT visible NOT removable 'hepa'filter.
I agree with most of this. But not all. I agree that bagged vacuums are better. But bagless vacuums are certainly more convenient. When the bagless vacuum was emptied, it was purposely done in a messy way. But yes, bagged vacuum are easier to empty/replace bag. One thing I don’t agree with is the choice of vacuum. I don’t recommend bissell to anyone. They don’t make good products and a Dyson would have done much much better in that test. Even sharks would. I do mess tests on my vacuums on my channel so you can see what I mean. Otherwise, a good representation of a popular bagless machine and why it isn’t good.
I picked up this model Bissell off a curb, thought about spending $50 to make it right and decided against it. Not based on this video, but how trashed the vac was after dealing with an obviously hairy dog, something my shark has been doing well for almost 20 years and several sets of 2 and 3 Irish Setters.🤣
