What about longevity or serviceability? Which one would you recommend?

This would be the HX2 now for the new model. The Miele hands down. Check out our IG & Tiktok for more info on them.

I have a Dyson V11 I’m putting up for sale. I hate it. It will be replaced with the Miele. I have a canister version of the Miele that’s 16 years old and works like new. The Dyson V11 was to replace an older model that I got for free (Miele cordless wasn’t available at the time). Dyson will last 3-5 years if you’re lucky and made in China vs Miele that’s German made and designed to last 20 years.

The v11 is a great machine. But won’t replace an upright. I wouldn’t buy the Miele cordless. The Dyson ones are better. If you don’t like the Dyson then you won’t like the Miele. Also, Dysons are made in Malaysia, not China. Much better quality than China. But certainly not as good as Germany. You should watch vacuum wars review of the Miele triflex. Then watch his Dyson cordless videos. They will help you understand more why the Dyson is the better choice.

@@tomaskroupakkfoto4132 the Dyson is better at cleaning period. And Miele is better built. Would you rather have something that will clean well? Or have something that has better wheels on the floor head? It doesn’t make any sense why you would get the Miele. Vacuum experts were not impressed with it and neither was I. It’s only the inexperienced vacuum technicians who think anything from Miele is great. It’s not. Nothing from Miele is approved from the carpet and rug institute. So actually. Yes, th Dyson is better. By the way, the Dyson shown in this video is several years old and is no longer made. The newer Dysons are much better. Please know your facts before you wanna start something.

@@tomaskroupakkfoto4132 I’m not saying the Miele is bad. But the Dyson is better. My v11 can get 126 inches of water. That’s higher than any of my 36 vacuums. It doesn’t clean as good as an upright. But it has about the most power than any upright I have. And by the way. The v8 and v10 are not the newest models. So it’s not fair to compare them. The v10 came out 3 years ago. The v8 came out about 5 years ago. The Miele doesn’t clean as well. Why would you want something that would last longer but doesn’t do the job as well? It doesn’t make any sense. And the Miele still has a hefty price tag on it. The Dyson has so many more features for not that much more money. I don’t understand why you live this Miele so much. The only thing you have proven is that it would last longer. Which I mostly agree with. But the Dyson will still last a while. My v8 is 4 years old and still going great. My family also has a v6 that they have had for 6 years. Still going great.

@@DillonCleans I've owned Dyson's for the past 26 years from the DCO5 to the DC59, and quite frankly they have not improved upon the ability to unblock their washable HEPA filter system they have used in those models to allow these vacuums to operate continuously and without a loss of suction. Dyson always prided themselves on 'no loss of suction' but the reality is very much different. As far as battery consumption is concerned, the inability of James Dyson to stop using their trigger ignition system is also another needless operational aspect when you consider other companies such as Miele and Samsung have adopted a old fashioned push or slide button ignition system to allow the consumer to use their cordless vacuums without getting finger or wrist ache for several minutes of run time. The cleaning head of dyson for the past 26 years has always got blocked too, and the cleaning of this and the bagless canister system is the worse form of health and safety you could possibly expose yourself to, and should have been rectified 20 years ago and was not. There is no point in having a fully sealed system on a Dyson if you are going to potentially expose the consumer to dirt sucked up because the filter, cleaning head or canister has a tendency to get blocked with the wrong kind of dirt such as powder or hair.

Dyson is a rip-off. 6th generation. Miele expensive. 1st generation. Miele better materials, design and build quality. Extra battery and varta (German battery manufacturer) is much better. Dyson just spend a lot of their money on marketing, then over charge the basic minded consumers, who don’t do their homework. Dyson failed on their washing machine. Breaks. Dyson failed in their car. £120,000. Who will buy a car with a name of a vacuum at that cost!! Dyson fan is pathetic, £600 for a £50 fan. Takes 50 years to make up on the electric savings. Dyson overcharge and overspend on their marketing. Miele hardly spend on marketing and invest more in their research and development and it shows. Not every Miele product is brilliant but most are and the few that aren’t are either excellent or very very good. Expensive to very expensive but not a clear rip of like flimsy Dyson. Miele is not a sealed system and Dyson is. That makes a negligible to minimal difference and is another marketing play of words of Dyson. Just like ‘ bag less is better then bagged’ was or ‘no loss of suction’ and is obviously proven wrong to those that do their homework. No bagless vacuum can beat the performance of a bagged in any aspect whatsoever.

i mean, you really want to compare YEARS of engineering with Mieles FIRST cordless? how about mentioning the motorised head om dyson? the washable HEPA filter om dyson? miele has a NOT visible NOT removable 'hepa'filter.
