Red all day. I swear trigger I had to blend a way more washed out (with silver) version of that red one. Approx 2011 equinox factory color. I never saw that color again but I liked it. I like what you’re doing here trigger keep up the good work.
I'm not that keen on silver cars (even though my SLK is silver🙄) but this colour is really nice as there seems to be different colours/shades coming through in the light, I would imagine that colour can be a right pita to spray but our man Trigger made it look easy and the clear went on beautifully👏👌👍John UK
Sometimes if I’m feeling like I don’t want to live at work anymore I’ll dab that shit 😂 if the color is messed up. especially if I’m fixing the other painters work 😂🤷🏻♂️
@@PaintsByTrigger yeah it’s a repaint. If it doesn’t mess up the color I can usually wet sand and buff and it looks good enough depending on where it’s at. I have to do little resprays all the time and do micro blends with low low pressure on the finish line. I had to respray a spot on a roof yesterday because welder drilled a hole in the wrong spot and nobody noticed until after it was painted..
Man bummer I hate it when I bump the paint like that. Damn. I hope it didnt get a color smear....Then it will be pretty easy to fix. Yea that blending clear is NECESSARY on silver. Sometimes I will do heavier scratches and do the whole panel with that to fill them. Like 320 or 400 scratches. But on the blend area 800....only with silver. I will coat the whole area with clear basecoat Ad Binder to the first coat of base Then let it dry for a bit then finish with full color 2 more light coats and Urethane clear. Only on a cheaper job though can get some sanding scratch but really not much.
Hey Trigger, Hope your doing great man. This is one of the best vids out there on the blending of that very fine silver which can give headaches. Very well done overall man. Hey what you do to the utubezez? I was hitting that like button and it never left that 0.
