Yes, it was a test of patience to get into the parking area. There was a line of cars on the expressway backed up for almost one mile waiting to make the exit to the secondary road. It took two hours to get from the expressway to the event parking area. On a typical day, that should have only been a five-minute drive. Traffic was like that all day long. Was it worth the wait to see the Union Pacific “Big Boy” 4014? For me, the answer is yes. Would I do it again? Probably.
About 3 Weeks I Was Going Down I 35 In Iowa On A Sunday Morning & I Just Happened To Look Up The Toward The Sky And I See This 4 Engine Silver Airplane Flying Above The Interstate And It Was Flying Low Enough Where I Saw The Tail And Then I Saw The Nose Of The Aircraft And Realize It Was A B 29 And I Was Like Wow 😱 !!! I Saw A B 29 And That Was My 1st Time Ever Seeing One And It Looked Nice 🇺🇲👍✌️
