While in the middle of playing a song on stage, the power went out. Mean Mary did not let this bother her. She calmly unplugged the audio cable from her banjo and walked from the stage into the audience and gave them an up-close acoustic performance. After several minutes the power was restored, and Mean Mary was able to finish her concert back on stage. This short video clip is of Mean Mary entertaining the audience when the electric power was off. (September 3, 2023) This was a very warm weather day, and everyone was seeking the shade as much as possible. Despite the heat and the sun, Mean Mary walked around with her Deering Rustic Wreath banjo which weighs 13 pounds. With a smile on her face and a spring in her step, Mean Mary went that extra mile to make sure the show continued and the audience was entertained. So, as any person can see, Mean Mary is not mean, in fact she is quite merry.
