I created this channel to be able to store all my adventures.
While a lot of people look thru photo albums, I want to watch mine while sharing it with Family & Friends. I am not gonna be posting weekly or even sometimes monthly, I'll upload whenever I have travel plans or simply when I get motivated to edit my videos :D
Thanks, I regret to say that it does not, I tried it but the machine didn't accept the pass at the airport since it's not part of the Tokyo subway anymore.
Trains usually stop operating around midnight, but it would be better to leave earlier than that because taxi's can be expensive if you miss the train 😅
Hello, dito lang kita pede contactkin e. Hihi. Lapit na flight namin po. More question po, isang train lang ba sinakyan mo from narita airport to asakusa station?@@EnjoyingLife.
If we buy a ticket in Klook app, i think they are only selling a base fare.. do we still need to buy another ticket in kansai airport for limited express train (non stop)?
It includes the express fare, you'll be using a machine by the station entrance and a ticket will be released for a non reserved seat, I was sceptical at the beginning as well, but I tried it and I got in. You'll just show the ticket to the staff, it's not for the machine. there is a more detailed instruction on the klook app for it 😁
Hello, may direct train pala going to Asakusa? Pwede magtanong? Pwede dyan na rin kami ride going to Hotel MyStays Asakusa? Sabi kasi sa AI walang direct train going to our hotel? Salamat po sa sagot
Hello, kung tamang Mystays Asakusa nakita ko, yes kaya naman, sakay kayo Sky Access tapos baba sa Asakusa Station (A18), tapos exit kayo sa [Exit A2B] <-- eto yung may elevator, pwede din kayo [Exit A2A] kaso hagdan 😂. after that, may 12minutes walk sa Hotel niyo, use google maps so far di pa naman ako nililigaw nun 😆
Thank you so much po sa sagot 🙏 ah pwede pala yon? Parang nakita ko kasi sa google maps may river e, kaya prang Keisei Main Line to Ueno Station muna tinuro tas change to subway then sa Kuramae Station kami pinabababa?
Is the non-reserved seats are first come first served basis? If passengers fill-up all the seat so I have to stand all the way from Kansai airport till Kyoto?
Hello, I'm not sure as I haven't experienced it before, but my family arrived around 10:30pm at Kansai airport and they had to hurry to catch the airport bus from the airport to Kyoto station.
Thank you so much for this video. We just booked our hotel for our first two nights in Japan just across from Asakusa Station. Now we know how to get there after our 12-hour flight. What a relief! Do you have a video about the IC card you mentioned, and how to get one? Thanks again 🙂
You're welcome! I don't have one but you can buy it from the machine, there should be an option there for an IC Card, if not you should be able to buy it from the train office once you land :)
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XmqXX3yPLBc.html here's a more detailed explanation on how to buy a ticket for the Haruka train :) since you already have an IC Card, you can just opt to buy an express ticket as shown on the linked video :D
This is a great video! I wish I could have known this last June. I didn't even know that you could use machines to buy tickets for the Sky Access. I just go into the ticket office. Also knowing the difference between the orange and blue platforms is helpful. The biggest problem I have is getting back from Nippori to Narita for the return flights. I pay for Sky Access, change at Takasago and end up taking a Rapid. Keisei staff are generally not very helpful, and always try to sell me tickets on the Skyliner service. I've only had 1 good experience with them, out of 5 attempts. Like I said, I wish I had seen this video last June. So now, I just take the bus to and from Tokyo Station. It's more straightforward.
I kinda get why they kept offering you the skyliner, it's a direct route to the airport from that area though a little more expensive. I hope this becomes helpful the next time you return to Japan. Oh and here is a tip, the sky access is basically a local train too, if you ever have a morning flight out from Haneda this line will be too much of a hassle. I experienced it first hand last May, I had a noon flight from Haneda to Osaka, I left very early and waited for the sky access from Asakusa Station and oh man, the train was JAM PACKED with commuters, I waited a little over 1hr and still I had to squezz and push myself in the train. My point is, sky Access in the morning going to Haneda is gonna be tough especially with big luggages. Just incase you have a morning flight out from Haneda 😆
@@EnjoyingLife.oh thanks for the information. I have a noon flight from narita to jakarta (around 11 AM). I stay in APA hotel asakusa. Do you have any recommendation?
@@ridhamuldina6938 If it's Narita then you're good, plus since you're in APA if i remember correctly exit A2B is just across from the hotel where the Elevator is located going down to the station hahaha
Hi. Thank you for this detailed video. I have a question though. I have to stop at A12 (Takaracho Station) as per google maps however, I noticed in your video that there is no button for A12. Which button should I press to arrive on this stop?
at around 1:20 you can see an option to search by station name :) now if you have an IC Card you don't need to worry about a ticket, just tap your card at the gate and enter, make sure you're on the right train and just get off at A12 :)
Thank you for the feedback! 😁 There is an option for a child ticket, I am just not sure about infant ticket. I think it would be best to inquire with a staff regarding the said ticket, it will also help you to know if you will need an infant ticket whenever you ride a train or if it's free 😃 Chances are it'll be free, but again please inquire with a staff to be more certain 😁
yes :) plus you will need a seat reservation ticket if you want a reserved seat. if not you can always just enter a non-reserved car for the Haruka 😃 you can serve with the staff once they give you your actual JR Pass 😀
Hi thanks for the video. I have to go to Kuramae Station (A17) as it is the closest to my hotel. How do I use the skyacces in this case as I did not see A17 in the options to select the station?
Magkano ang bayad nila mula Maynila hanggang San Francisco. For the Filipinos in Bay Area they would rather go Philippine Airlines or United the latter can actually extend the Manila to San Francisco flight to Newark Terminal C.
No, you'll need an additional Express Ticket for the Haruka aside from the Fair Ticket. you can pair: Fair Ticket + Express Ticket or IC Card + Express Ticket :)
Thank you for the video. I want to go to Narita Airport from Asakusa Station. does the train arrive directly at the airport without moving or getting off the train? Thank you
Thank you for this! So there are no transfers right? direct to Asakusa? I heard in the afternoon there might be a transfer? Also, where do we buy the IC card at Narita airport? and do you have a video showing how to get from Kyoto station to KIX? thanks!
1. Yes it's direct 😃 2. Check the train schedules but it's supposed to be direct, I mainly use google to check it. 3. Try the ticket office or a tourist information center, I'm not entirely sure if you could also get it from a Machine. 4. I do, it's set to be uploaded tomorrow so drop by again by then 😆
