This channel covers topics ranging from Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Excel, and more.
Each video is often times accompanied by an engaging infographic and excel sheet to help you follow along on the core concepts that we'll be covering.
These videos are the learnings from my 10+ year experience in Finance & Accounting, ranging from my experience at Big 4, to managing my own fractional CFO firm.
This is the channel I wish I had when I was just starting out...and it's now my mission to share what I've learned with you each and every week.
Thanks for watching and don't be shy to say hello in the comments!
Good question. I believe finished goods will always be the sum of the components in raw materials/work in process…I’m not aware of how the balance can be higher, but I wonder if there can be exceptions - maybe someone reading the comments can share their thoughts!
Help, following your guide and its great except that when i create the new workbook none of my queries are listed - do i need to link them somehow or amend something in settings?
Thanks for watching! Did you load the queries in the source workbook as tables? Then when you point to that workbook in the new file, you should be able to see all tables
I was thinking the same as you but when watching it again you'll see that he first open a new workbook. Then he goes back to the source wokrbook, loads all the tables (so they are not anymore connection only) and then went back to the new workbook. That's confusing
I’ve been doing the manual method for about 9 years, but over the past 5 months, after studying, watching RU-vid (including your videos), learning online, and with the help of AI, I’ve been able to speed up my workflow. Now I can get my job done faster and still have time to relax. Thanks for sharing! Im planning to create similar videos to help my Filipino community in the Philippines, i’ll be using our own dialect to make it unique.:)
Think about errors of input, dependancies and more important - imagine if you'll have not 4 but 40 pedartaments. in PQ it is easier automate and debug stuff
Dynamic arrays are great but your ability to refresh data & manage transformations will be limited if you do things with that way - ideally you do a combination of both!
I believe with powerbi this can be simplified a bit, but this is actually built in a very similar way to powerbi using power query + power pivot. I dont have a ton of experience with powerbi so would be interested to hear from anyone who does if there’s a simpler way!
