Hii sir I had an open umbilical hernia repair on 12 of june 2024 Its around two and half month to it for now And i feel pain sometimes in the operated area and always feel some heaviness Is it normal to feel such a pain or should i get check up(ultrasound or ncct) And i use an operation belt always , whenever i go outside or do work. Should i continue to use the belt or not.
He’s absolutely right. Any truss makes matters worse, ultimately causing more stinging, burning and stabbing. Post surgery, a wide belt across the abdomen alone provides useful supporting.
I had a large discharge of a grey paste matter in three tube paste like which grew into a worm projection from inside. It had a blackhead which I thought was a hair problem. When I decided to pick and what came out scared me. I drained this paste as best I could, which left a large hole in the skin. The hole was about 1/3 " in diameter. I put as much polysporine into the cavity and placed a bandaid, i went to emergency and had it looked at. I was told i had a hernia and the doctor asked me if they needed to repair it or not on the same day. I asked if all reports be sent to my family doctor and would repair under his diagnosis and direction. Since 2022, i lost faith in the hospital. I was wrong with decision. It took me three weeks to see him, and when angery about the wait, i to.d him that i had a hernia, he said he read tne report on the CT scan which denied i had a hernia. After three doctors looked at the report, the initial said that l had a herna while asecond and now my own physician denied this, based on the initial scan. What I did was left his care and am transition to a new care giver. The question I have is what was the grey paste that drained from my body? I never got an affirmative answer. Maybe you can tell me? I await your answer.
what's considered "heavy" weights?. My doc told me anything under 30lb after 2 weeks then gradually increase each week.... You're suggesting 3 months before heavy weights... you talking like a 200+lb bench press?
My doctor also said: •No bending •Wear the binder belt •No straining of any kind •No squats or any exercise for two months except walking and running (So I’m walking like crazy with my binder belt on since I won’t be able to workout for so long.) •
Add 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to a smoothie and I promise, you will have a soft bowl movement within 1-3 hours. Be sure you have a toilet available because you can’t fight olive oil. Also, do not take the olive oil straight. It must be mixed with something or it will give freakishly painful, burning acid reflux. If it is mixed into a smoothie, there will be no acid reflux. My smoothie: •1/2 banana (ripe) •1-1.5 cups water •1/2 Tbsp acai freeze-dried powder •1/3 cup bran flakes
My two year old son underwent surgery for pyloric stenosis but he has an incisional hernia. The doctor told that there would be surgery later to repair the hernia. Someone tell me will this surgery be risky?

Such a helpful diet video on hernia after operation! I had a hernia, and thanks to Planet Ayurveda's herbal supplements, my condition has improved significantly. My friend also had great results with these supplements. I suggest trying them if anyone is facing similar issues.
***QUESTION, PLEASE*** I'm a 64 year old overweight American who cannot afford to repair an Umbilical Hernia in the USA. It seems to be getting worse as I am trying to exercise and lose weight and bulges out of my belly like a have a giant papaya down there! I am on semaglutide and losing weight. My question please, what would is cost out of pocket -- meaning, NO INSURANCE -- to have the Umbilibal Hernia Repair operation with you or perhaps someone else in your country??? Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. :)

I've just had a lapriscopic hernia removed from my left side between my hip and belly button. It's 1 week post operation and I am experiencing pain occasionally 🥴 just hoping this is normal as I feel it's the muscle and nerves attaching to the mesh 🤔
