Unironically love the look of that Commando droid. His design just asks so many questions about him, without him even saying a word. If he was the protagonist I might actually play this garbage.
Obi Wan isn't going to tell Luke "oh yeah, I knew your dad and he was an arrogant dick". Insulting the father of the person you want to join you and help you on a critical quest is a stupid idea.
The problem with the show has always been for me how it fits with the saga. And that’s true for most of the Star Wars shows. Examples include anakin having a padawan (the council isn’t supposed to trust him), having more than two sith (I always hated maul coming back and ventress) boba fett being alive, Asoka being alive through everything including through return of the Jedi messes everything up. Add onto that the lines that don’t make any sense (anakin powers doubling was supposed to reference to AOTC) plus all the new tech. The continuity just never fit in with the original six film saga for me, even if the show has some great ideas and moments.
Is this video supposed to be ironic? The prequels are terrible with or without TCW. You are literally making every argument for why TCW is amazing compared to the horribly, terribly written Prequel trilogy 🤣You want Anakin's rocky relationship with Obi-Wan to stay in line with the prequel movies, dismissing the fact that the ORIGINAL Star Wars movie has Obi-Wan stating Anakin "was a good friend"? I view you as a victim to Lucas' brilliant merchandising campaign to sell toys because that is literally ALL the prequel movies are: A trilogy of toy commercials. Lucas' skills as a writer were swallowed up by the Sarlacc pit in 1983. So sorry for you, poor victim of consumerism without any grasp of what constitutes as quality writing.
I always wondered why the dark empire comics are considered a trilogy rather than a duology. Most series comics consist of 4, 6, or 8 issues. DE 1 and 2 are both 6 issues and EE is only 2. EE are really just issue 7 and 8 of DE 2. The 3rd edition of DE 2 includes both EE 1 and 2 but retitled them as DE issue 7 and 8.
Or for $200 you could buy the digital deluxe editions of Black Myth: Wukong and Space Marine 2 which are actually good games. I mean Space Marine and 40k are kind of creeping in terrible shit to their lore, but at least it isn't Disney Star Wars levels of atrocious.
I'll always have a soft spot for him for his work with George on TCW, that being said, everything else he has done hasn't really been that appealing to me.
This is a pretty decent video. Even if I disagree with the main point 😅 IDK man, I like it all. The original complete Saga is perfect in my mind I wouldn't change anything about those six movies other than maybe adding the cut Lightsaber Choreography back into the third film. The Games are all great. Haven't played a bad one as of yet though that may change when I play Outlaws, we'll see though🤞. Not the biggest Comic reader but the ones I have read have all been entertaining, and I can't ask for more than that. Both the 2D and 3D Clone Wars animations are pretty solid in my eyes. Nowhere near as bad as the shit they're pumping out now. I'd rather them come back an produce a hundred new Clone Wars episodes than try to shoehorn excuses and explanations for how the sequels ended into every new show.
Holy fuck, i enjoyed the work and research that went into this video. And Def some things are valid talking points. Def more one sided tho. Otherwise, they would've gone into a complete, more in-depth history of everything since filoni was hired. Good and bad. But some of the comments do the work the creator of this video put in. Everyone is Def entitled to their own opinion, which makes for great conversation respectfully. I usually don't comment and buy no means want to just stick up for dave. But one point was saying he had a big hand in the sequels when at that point he was still considered the animation guy is not correct. He was just given more power as an overseer of more projects. I think right before season 3 of Mando . But the few projects that were green lit by kathy before and at the time of that. He was working on ahsoka, which isn't perfect but at least has the heart of star wars and a direction. Acolyte was terrible, but most of control im pretty sure was given to Leslie. Now to a lot of people's points, he very well could've gave notes or said you should do this but she said it's her show. To the EU stuff and continuity part, he tries to implement what he can because he's a fan. But to say he's neglecting the established continuity and shitting on what came before is a little much. He Def changes and plays and disregarded things and a decent amount. You're not wrong. But we wouldn't have any of that thanks to Disney. But everyone is overlooking a huge element which is George. He taught this guy everything he saw star wars to be. The eu is great but there's i reason why when George still own the company, there was 5 different tiers of considered cannon. And he could do and change what he wanted first. The EU became a huge thing basically because there was only the original trilogy. It was 16 years between that and the phantom menace. Star wars stayed relevant because of that mostly. But it all had to be ok by him. With subject to change. There's soo much great content that came out of that. But it isn't the movies and it's not George's full cannon. I'm sure that's one thing he learned from him working on the clone wars. Dave is not the creator of the clone wars. And as star wars fans we cant let ourselves or the creators be suffocated in a box just because of the eu. Does the mcu do exactly what the comics and pre-written source material that came before go beat for beat? How could we be entertained? George, in my opinion. Allowed writers to be creative and build out the lore to keep selling toys and keep star wars fresh and relevant. But he could always change and take what he wanted. That being said we have not gotten very great, nor even very good content to not be pissed. And that doesn't exclude dave. Kathy is the main culprit. None of us are there on a daily basis to know fully what's going down. And hey maybe after kathy is gone or other projects and information comes out and all the disapproval and dissatisfaction will be 100 percent correct. But just because a creator, who literally worked more than any of us with George wants to craft his own story and implement the very thing you guys are complaining about that you want intact. We're fucked. This is one of the most passionate and divided fanbases that ever peace kept the galaxy lol. And ahsoka is bad ass, things don't have to be a certain way because George didn't have evening planned out almost 50 years ago. Like Jesus how could he. And to the one person who was mad that he voice was in that terrible rise of Skywalker movie. She could be dead she could be alive at that point. Mostly every voice in that scene, wait im sorry every voice in that scene was dead jedi. Transcended into the cosmic force. From live action and animation. I apologize and if you read this whole thing, i hope it was entertaining and interesting. Honestly, and i leave it here. If George never received a lot of the hate he got after the prequels we may or may not have been in this situation to begin with. And he's the one that created this thing we all love soo much. Its science fiction. There should be cannon, but it's all made up.

Funny, I watched The Phantom Menace as my introduction to Star Wars, thanks to my friends, and I was still able to understand it fully. Strangely, Memeulous watched it five times and couldn't get a drop of it.
Technically speaking it doesn’t not look impressive or marginally memorable Gameplay wise it looks like it needs to bake in the oven another few months And creatively it looks bankrupt I’ve seen a lot of this game and being critical of a million dollar company’s ability to put out a decent or good product They haven’t succeeded
