Hlo.here’s my story.I thought I have lymphoma above my collarbone but inreality it is just a cervical rib(.5 to 1% of world population have it).see sometimes we just worry about nothing.just overthinking.Just go to doctor and check it and stop worrying 😊😊
@@paulcousino8773 Pleasure to share but not a pleasure to hear about your NHL. Have you been through treatment before? Either way it's wonderful you are seeking information and others experiences to help yourself through this 💜
I'm going through my investigations now. Neck ultrasound shows a 4.5 cm 'soft tissue' mass in the same area on the left side. (Radiologist didn't say lymph node specifically, rather 'soft tissue') Waiting for my MRI. The anxiety is horrible. Thank you for sharing.
@@kitchensecretrecipe So scary! I hope you are getting things looked at and really advocating for yourself. Good you are seeking out information and similar stories.
My lump looks like this and I see my doctor tomorrow. Thank you so much for this video. I hope they don't gaslight me. I went last week with swallowing difficulties, itching fatigue etc and was told it was long covid. I was too scared to bring up the lump because he was dismissive. Getting a second opinion. Feel so stupid for not bringing it up.
Never ever feel stupid, you were overwhelmed not stupid. You are getting it looked at now and hoping for good news for you. It's so scary to have to even think about it. The symptoms are "vague" at the time as you slowly experience them but together with a lump it forces you to take it more seriously. Really glad you are. 🙂
I’ve been on Reddit a lot lately over some lumps and bumps I’ve found - first in my groin and now in my neck. I’m very worried but hopeful it’s nothing.
I'm glad you're doing well. Being an RN, I am as well, did you not try other treatments like cannabis oil?? Chemo and radiation are horrible treatments for cancer. They help in some cases but cause other problems. Not judging your choice just wondered.
Im also an RN so having severe health anxiety, it was a bad choice of profession. I have a unilateral swelling of my left submandibular gland. It swelled up rather quickly but ive been on a course of antibiotics and it hasnt gone down. So yes Google is the enemy because everything points to the big c. I have a ct scheduled for friday. I hate waiting. My cousin had lymphoma at a young age and all the radiation just ruined her lungs and ahe was on 6L 24 hours a day and passed about 2 years ago after having pneumonia during the cough cough
Did you have shortness of breath? Did you have CT scans? I had non Hodgkins lympoma 7 years ago. I'm worried it's back I'm seeing my oncologist next week
I have the same lump. My lymph node was 1.8cm with central necrosis. There is no pain though, so that part is different from yours. I just had a biopsy 3 days ago. My post-op appt is the 20th. Really nervous, but I'm trying to stay positive. The incision is like 2-2 1/2 inches long and hurts like crazy. I pray you're doing well. I see this was from 10 years ago.
@interrupted9671 turned out I was lied to. I didn't have central necrosis "thankfully" but my post-opt appt is tomorrow and I want answers. Central necrosis doesn't just disappear.
Hello Wondering how you are doing after 10 yrs! I came here looking for symptoms. Ive had swelling going on in the same exact spot for about 2 months. It has been getting larger but not quit as large as yours yet but close only on my left side. I don't currently have health insurance and not exactly sure what to do honestly. But i am thinking i need to see someone.
I know this video is old,but I have puffiness on both sides..it almost feels like edema, feel like crap..am bring treated for a recurrent UTI (that was a shock as I never get them)Im a Veteran..so Im able to get care, sent a message to my Primary Care Dr,asking for a consult to see Endocrinologist and maybe ENT too..As I have lots of postnasal drip too,I am a mess😂..Im 5 ft 7 /150 lbs,not losing weight…but Appetite is not as strong..Ill be turning 60 in February..so menopause is my life😂..no night sweats, but have had bouts of sweating and sometimes shortness of breath..Im concerned as I used to do triage in Army( combat medic)and then worked in Civilian world..and Then went on to become A licensed Massage therapist,so Im familiar with Lymphatic system..I am do scared right now😢
I was told you can't get mono twice if the virus comes back it's not mono it's changed and can kill you and your gonna have to have treatment or watched for life
How are you? I have the same swollen node. I am going to an infectious disease specialist after an er trip. I had low wbc count and that gave me a few days of relief but I keep getting the same nagging feeling that you described having. It's scary. I hope you are well❤
I am an RN too! Oh my journey was crazy as I knew with my mammogram she found something! I really knew when chatty Kathy sonogram tech got really quiet! LOL! So many stories! I ended up with double mastectomy and 19 bad lymph nodes. Thanks for making me laugh! We nurses are so bad!! Praying for you!!
We are the worst but in the best way. We care deeply and have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Hope you are recovering well and looking after yourself.
How are you doing now? I just got a lump on my collarbone area. Keeps getting bigger. Would help my stress and anxiety go down if you are doing okay now. Please reply or like this comment.
Thank you so much for this video Chelsea it’s funny I’ve been to all the doctors that you’ve been to Ann last one ear nose and throat doctor and I’m just so frustrated I wish they would just take a biopsy I don’t understand why they can’t but mine is the size of yours maybe actually little bit bigger and it’s not just in my neck it’s in my armpit and it in my groin area please pray for me❤
Thank you for sharing. Gp initially diagnosed viral meningitis 3 months ago for stiff neck, headaches, earaches etc. referred to neurology and waiting on CT scan. I have constantly mentioned swollen nodes in head and neck. Now getting cough and breathing issues and thank you for describing the tiredness, I had mono years ago and am now wanting to sleep as soon as I wake up just like when I had mono. Wishing you and everyone here a speedy recovery. Waiting on results and now another gp appointment to check the dry cough
Interesting that you had mono 5 years earlier as 40% of lymphoma cases are linked to prior EBV infection, I've seen a study that stated a mean onset of 4 years after EBV infection. Of course most people have had EBV in their life and don't get lymphoma though. I hope you are doing okay, you have a lovely character.
Was your lymph movable when it started? I have a small swallowing lymph on left clavicle. I see you haven’t posted the past 5 years. How are you doing?
Hello! I am doing well. Thank you for asking. I have been busy back living life. Have a beautiful 3 year old son that keeps me very busy. My lymph node was not moveable and not painful. I am no sure when it started but by the time I discovered it I was not able to move it. Are you having the lymph node investigated. I'm sure you are worried. Good for you for seeking out knowledge and informing yourself. -Chelsea
I'm sorry you're going through this. I had Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2008 and after chemo and radiation, I am in remission. I then had non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2016. Again, after chemo, I'm in remission. I wish you well.
Thanks for your story it really does make a difference! I had melanoma two years ago really bad on my back in three areas. Largest was 7” oval they cut out, I think 1-1/2” deep on the waist line. Itched all the time but never had a second thought because I couldn’t see it. Two lymph nodes removed from right armpit and two from groin- one on each side. Nodes were clear but would like to give credit to God as I prayed hard the day before surgery. Reason for leaving a comment is to thank you for sharing but mostly was hoping someone would chime in to add a suggestion. I know the listing is 8 years ago but was led to do this. After surgery I recovered quickly and was back working doing physical stuff around the yard. January was surgery February was starting to be more physical then a mountain of symptoms: always cold, night sweats, left hand shaking, very weak, always tired- mostly napping most of the day, cognitive issues, very forgetful, stomach and chest pain, body pain all over, when bending over to put on shoes or pet an animal I have trouble catching my breath, hissing 24/7 in left ear, frequent headaches, lump in neck ( 3 doctors didn’t notice it but said it was fine). Been to emergency for 9 hrs with everything they could test including blood - perfectly healthy all normal. This was July 2020. Still having all symptoms BUT... now my throat is sore where lump is, hurts to swallow, ear pain when swallowing on same side, jaw pain just started on same side. Throat has been sore for 3 weeks now. Went to dentist last week and took antibiotics before that to have wisdom tooth removed that was impacted on opposite side of lump. Just went to the doctor - did blood work of everything now blood results are all over in bad range. Waiting to get another scan. Scheduled neurologist since they take a while to schedule. Lump on neck is size of filbert nut and is hard not soft. Any suggestions. Never smoked or did drugs. I don’t drink, I eat healthy- I am now overweight but not fat. Lot of muscle mass. I am always positive, not an angry person, spiritual, outgoing, not stressed or depressed just looking for suggestions and thoughts even an answer if you got on. 😊🙏❤️ Many blessings, Gary
