Hi Mike, I do have my favourites in tv shows & collect them, the original Star Trek i could see myself purchasing one day as did quite enjoy them as a kid, CEX is hit a miss at times & that"s an amazing bargain for a early 101 black label release 👍, damn i didn"t know about a extended cut of "The Lawnmower man" being 40 mins longer, i did see the first movie but many, many years ago. Jet Li not the biggest fan of as i tend to go for the older Martial arts movies but this looks a stunning release 🤔i love the original Robocop movie but i must confess that i find the sequel somewhat disappointing & Nancy Allen goes missing for a large portion of the movie for me, fine update buddy.
Thanks Carlos! Yeah I was happy to find the 101 release in good condition and cheap! I agree about Robocop 2, Nancy Allen is underused. I'd even argue Robocop the character is underused in the film as well!
Enterprise not really my cup of tea watched it all back on release will have to rewatch it at some point. I'm more a OG fan TNG and DS9 fan not keen on Voyager either. Nice pick ups mate 👍

@@cinemaaxeman seven of nine peaked my interest back then for obvious reasons! However they ended up ruining the Borg in the process, DS9 was just brilliant in parts so much good writing and acting Next level
@andylikesstuffchannel Yeah, I can understand that! Voyager had a great concept, but it ended up just feeling like TNG, but not as good. DS9 was something different, and great acting and storytelling, like you say 👍
Some cool pickups there, I havent seen Mute Witness myself so thanks for the heads up, gonna check that out, and might see Lawnmower Man too as like you, its been yonks since I saw it and have pretty much forgotten it 👍

Not linearly, but exponentially greater than the others. It would be like designating a Ferrari as second tier to a Lexus. I simply can't pick a movie in my top Bond which doesn't include him. Second, part of the joy of Bond is the historical appreciation of the way things were in the sixties. The suits, the thin ties, the cars, the dress, the hotels and the music. So for me, even On Her Majesty's Secret Service is classier and more deserving to be in my top 5. As Brosnan is my second favorite Bond, I also would put one of his movies in my top ones although I didn't necessarily love any of his movies, but loved him. I find Craig and Dalton so lacking in humor, so brooding, depressed, and to my eye less attractive, that I only make room for one Craig in the top six because the movie was strong. Like Saying Craig or Dalton films is better than Connery is like saying a modern version of “It’s a Wonderful Life” is better than the original. Blasphemy. It’s not just the story and actor, it’s everything nostalgic and historical.

Hi Mike, Even though it’s fully factual I still enjoyed “Dragon” I have the majority of the UK Jackie Chan releases but not The Fearless Hyena movies & didn’t know about the sequel which I’ve never seen before, thanks for sharing that info 👍. It’s a decent enough release but still a missed opportunity in my opinion of Paramount’s 4K collectors release of “Once upon a time in the West” It could of been a epic packaging release, love the movie, a masterpiece in film making for me. That vinyl was really cool looking. I’ve seen Fearless Hyena and it’s got some great fight scenes. Never heard of Fearsome Hyena 2. Sounds kind of terrible from your description.

I really enjoyed your ranking, particularly because it's been so rare to see a younger person appreciating the original 5 films (I grew up in the '70s). So great hearing you speaking well of BENEATH, which was my favorite growing up!
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I know what you mean! I would take most of the original 5 films over the new ones, easily. I grew up on them, so I have a lot of nostalgia for them. What surprises me even more is the fact that a lot of people have never seen the original 5, but have seen the new trilogy.
Fantastic video, For me Rogue one was probably the best out of the new films, I also think Solo is better than people give it credit for considering Ron Howard took over after the film started filming, would loved to have seen a sequel to that.
I'd rank Rogue One much higher, and Star Wars over Jedi as it was less interested in selling toys. There were a couple of Ewok movies which were awful, but missing from this list. Revenge was clumsy writing, with Anakin flipping out extremely suddenly with no good reason - it was jarring, but at least not jar-jarring
I understand what you mean about Return of the Jedi and the merchandising. Still, I prefer it as a movie over Star Wars. I chose not to include any of the animated films on this list. I agree with you about Revenge of the Sith, the writing isn't the best. Thanks for watching 👍

Great pickups Mike, i have The Foreigner, Really enjoyed it and Jackie Chan back to his best in that, Will pickup The Blackcoats daughter, not heard of that one before. Alligator is one i am after but will wait for a cheaper version before i pull the trigger, thanks mate.
I too don't rank Skyfall that highly. I think they took themselves too seriously that time around. I too though it felt more like Batman than James Bond. Worth noting, I'm a fan of Daniel Craig's run as Bond, and there are Bond movies I rank much lower than Skyfall. Casino Royale is my favorite of Daniel's for sure.

You know what mate rise of Skywalker is absolutely terrible the only starwars film I don't own, , emperor died with anakin Skywalker redemption in return of the jedi , it's like a 6 year old did the story , great video mate , btw my favourites are the 3 original films they have magic about them ✨👌🏻🎥
I was the same, mate! I saw it in the cinema, and then when it came out on Blu-ray, I skipped it. I eventually picked it up cheap to complete the collection, but I still don't like the movie, haha! A great top three from you! 👍
Rogue one fixes a huge plot hole from the original Star Wars movie. And it gives us more great scenes with Vader and Tarkin without it feeling like plain old fan service. They actually have good reasons to be in the story that’s being told, and it makes sense for them to be there since it’s literally about the Death Star. Thats the other great thing about it, it gives us so much information we never had on how the plans were stolen, and the movie honestly makes the Death Star more threatening than it was originally in a new hope.
I think those reasons are exactly why I don't like Rogue One. The element of mystery from A New Hope is completely undone, as a result of it. I think it's fine to watch as a one-off, but I would never watch it in the continuity of films, nor do I think it's necessary viewing, unless you want to know more of the backstory. I can totally respect your opinions about the movie, though 👍
Excellent video Mike. Loved it mate. That’s an awesome ranking there mate. I haven’t seen all of the Star Wars films, but I’ve seen a fair few, and I do enjoy them a lot. I think my top 3 are no.1 A New Hope. No.2 Empire Strikes Back, and no.3 Return Of The Jedi. I love Revenge Of The Sith, and Rouge One as well. Awesome stuff Mike.👍😃

While the sequels have stunning visuals and may be more entertaining to watch than the OT, they feel way too derivative of the OT and severely lack creativity/worldbuilding, hence why they're ranked lower
I enjoy all the Star Wars films, I'm no fanatic by any means but I absolutely cannot abide that final film, I really enjoyed the first two in that trilogy, but now ......I just can't, it's one thing for a film to be bad on it's own but when it's so bad it actively ruins your enjoyment of other films then thats reached legendary status of holy f**king s**t bad.

Star Wars 1977 is the best one, a perfect movie that not only changed the film industry, it changed the world (a little bit) Bursting with creativity, new concepts and revolutionary visual effects, combined with amazing set designs, superb location photography and stunning costumes. Add to this a tight no nonsense screenplay, tremendous editing and a orchestral soundtrack masterpiece created by a musical genius at the top of his game, we all got to see the most entertaining, impressive, enjoyable, engaging and astounding movie ever made, at the time it felt like a film from 20 years into the future. It became the biggest movie of all time at the time, and George Lucas was able to turn that success into an entire company that improved almost every field in the technology of the film industry, from ILM, THX, Skywalker Sound, Digital photography, Digital effects, Digital Editing etc,etc. Happy Star Wars day. May the force be with you.

Hi Mike, Lucio Fulci movies for me are hit or miss i"m afraid to say, i actually do own "The Foreigner" but never got around to it, i"m hearing its a more serious one from Jackie Chan & it doesn"t have his usual comedic elements in it, nice looking Fulci movie release from Arrow video one i"m not too familiar with, i do need that Jimmy Wang Yu new release as its one i"ve never seen & i do enjoy his movies & have a few of his movies in my collection, i"d recommend "The Man from Hong Kong" (Australian release) if you"ve not seen or own. The James Cameron movies i"ll eventually pick up but my "China O" Brien" release did arrive today & finally we get a UK release of it, been decades since i last seen the movie 😆fine update buddy.

That's one I need to pick up on blu-ray. Nice to see George Lazenby show up in that one, too 👍 I was happy see China O Brien get a nice release! They were first-time watches for me, but I enjoyed them a lot! 👍
