def a loud clipper but it is a must for my skin fades. I prefer fading with it 00000 up to 1then switch to .5 plastic, it makes me so fast. ive had it for 2 years and seems to have a bat/elec problem so I'm pulling out my corded 76 to get thru tomorrow until I get a new cordless.
Blades are interchangeable BUT the screws have to stay with certain blades, The wedge blades has screws that are recessed and have to stay with that blade
Im a babyliss barber. And time to take a new one for me. I don't care about price of the clippers. Between boosted and snap wixh one is better . Remember price is off the answer. I like that snap is easy to clean and reloads. Seeing boost though last 3-4 hours and smaller, what about snap one reload how much time gives u its less then the boosted?
Unscrew the blade from the clippers, use any blade guard that you most likely already have, put the blade in the clipper guard, make adjustments in the clipper guard, screw the blade back on the clipper. Perfectly aligned zero gap blade at no additional cost
Is there any difference in material? The Boost fx is being sold as all metal. Even though the regular gold fx has a plastic body amd just a metal grip.
What about the fxone that also has an interchangeable battery? I believe that one came out before the snap fx. Is that one the same as the boost and snap?
@@barberslounge really? I have 8 clippers and I keep going back to my old gold fx clippers or my magic clips. I have the onyx, rebel, etc but the fx churns out the nicest fades for me at the shop. What are your go to
I just got the Andis T Outliner, corded. My Wahl balding clipper’s motor finally died on me. I use it to “shave” clip my head bald, and shave my face. I’m super impressed with the Andis. It cuts closer than the Wahl. I did notice the blade was misaligned right out of the box. I’m going to try your manual method.
@@barbersloungeI did a good job of getting it zero gap, yet it was a bit too aggressive for me (wasn’t nipping me, just too aggressive). I reset it to maybe 1mm lower from fixed blade, and I purchased the Andis shaver. I’m loving this shaver for finishing, to get my head and face nice and smooth.
EVERYTHING YOU SAID ABOUT ANDIES CORDLESS VERSION ARE TRUE THEY ARE JUST A WASTE OF MONEY AND THEY COST MORE MONEY. I BOUGHT ONE FROM SALYS IN NEW JERSEY AND WANTS TO GET MY MONEY BACK FOR THIS CORDLESS ANDIES TRIMMER THAY TOLD ME TO RETURN IT TO CHINA WHERE ITS MADE ITSS A RIPP OFF DONT BUY ANDIES CORDLESS JUST BUY KNOCKOFF THEY CUT BETTER AND CHEAPER..
I like how they come out of the box too myself, but some people really like to get it as close to the point where it almost chews as possible. Mainly if you don’t like to use a razor
The best video on this product by Far..... when you Shop for things you Look at RU-vid so that u can purchase exactly what your looking for and see how they are used and if the product is good or not...good job!!
Old, dull, maybe not lined up correctly, every time I’ve had that happen I’ve only been able to temporarily fix it, need new blades, clipper or switch to a different brand like Stylecraft
Great breakdown. Im not even a barber, but i have like 3 trimmers. Seems like the corded andis always still hit better. I thought it was a mental thing because i've used them so long. But the points you bring up make me fell better about what I thought.
