I miss the religious undertones in the main trilogy. They made halo even spookier somehow if that makes sense. It’s like you can almost agree that the flood are demonic parasites hellbent on defying the gods.
Its interesting how 343 replaced this (I think) with the Didact's speech at the end of Halo 4, and (correct me if I'm wrong) the Didact was Medicants creator, so that link is cool. However, I still prefer this as i think it fits better lore wise, and it just sounds more creepy and omnipotent.

My bachelor of science honours thesis was on the subject of using artificial neural networks to classify the various galaxy types. I dont hate the 343 games, fuck infinites campaign to me is on par with CE its phenomenal, but their writing decisions are stupid making the forerunners a separate species and not ancient humans as originally intended was retarded and makes this dialogue basically moot
