I am not sure for germany but i think you can search for international sellers on ebay and they have it on aliexpress aswell (atleast for shipping to japan)
hey I have a question about the recordings, how do u record your sounds to the computer? I have the problem that there is always noise (murmurand) the audio signal is too quiet. but super cool content thanks for sharing :)
I normaly use a roland:go mixer directly connected to the phone for recording, if my audio signal is to quiet i do some slight mastering. I also sometimes have noise issue especially when using usb powered devices, for me its better to use batteries, i hope that helps
This is probably the most relatable video for artists. I also like jamming on gear (onto tape, too) to listen to during the day, gifting myself my own music to enjoy. Cool to see other people doing the same. Genuinely nice tips as well, sounds helpful. The visuals make me miss Japan, though. ;__;
Zoom mrs-8 is the best music gear I ever bought, it was a revolution for me as a musician in 2007 and forward. The soundquality is amazing and I still find new options on it. I would never stop using it so nowdays I still use it to do demos, as a Sampler and some effects.
I personally dislike the unethical non-jobs that are used to curate the AI platforms for less than minimum wage that happens in the background in third world countries. I guess this isn't as relevant for this tool but in general I don't like tools current prominence and playing with the tool that will be used to subjugate on a level that we have never dreamed of makes me feel icky
For some reason, I thought the free tool in question would be the one that cuts up and arranges the samples. Not the thing creating the samples itself.
Life is too short to choose sides on what you love and what you hate ❤ So appealing to reading to you while enjoying your music. It's double enjoyment.
Man this channel is gold. Is like i'm listening my own mind but without filters of prejudices. Add another subscriber please 😊 Keep on it!! Thanks for your videos ❤
your little space under the train tracks is exactly the kind of space i'm dreaming of. i'm personally mid about AI tech because it's heavily based on scraping and data theft... now this ai sampler clearly operates like RNG, but with audio signals... so there's little theft involved.
I think the AI not being perfect helps if we want to use samples for other purposes. it would be nice to have a big sample library you can just enter a search term and it figures out what you mean... because it had the sounds from somewhere to begin with... its just filtering it all so its no longer giving credit to the original creators and we have no way to know who even created it. If you find something good there is no way to know go back and hear what else came from the same place because it just spits out similar things. But its still a more creative way to use it generating random sounds instead of just pumping out full tracks that sound generic and boring.
It's always rubbed me the wrong way when people, who are making beats in their bedroom and are not making a living off of it, get overly worried about using samples and copyright nonsense. As if some millionaire popstar or billionaire record executive is going to come knocking on their door because they used 500 milliseconds of a sample from a recording that's 50 years old. It shows how little history they know about sampling, and they are buying into the hyper-capitalist and very racist reasoning these major labels used to crack down on rising young black artists back in the day. You don't need anyone's permission to be creative, and you should limit your creativity based on an irrational fear.
For your home setup, if you already have a soundcard, just use a usb c to b cable to connect it to your phone instead of your computer. This way you can record and even film your performance with good sound quality. Make sure you chose a cable that's long enough though, if you want to use the camera.
this is interesting. i'm a little disappointed that you didn't show what you did with it.. i know exactly what i will try to do when i get my hands on a soundcard like that. i'm gonna start using caustic again. yay thanks for the video even though it felt like an intro. i await more cheapsoundcard content.
Wow, a lot of toxic comments in here. I thiught the video has a good message. The images are fantastic. I assume you record the video with your phone. What do you use to edit? I am getting interested in making videos, but wanting to keep it simple and cheap.
