Hi, my name is Ricktold (real name Richie). On this channel I upload covers as other music related content including tutorials, reviews & discussions mainly focusing on audio recording and pop punk music.
Uhmm so i have a question and i would rlly apreciate if someone could help, first off great video man its so cool and i love it three cheers is out of all my fav guitar tone from MCR, but i was wondering if i should use my boss katana head amp along with the cabinet or should i use my fender frontman for recreating the tone? and also i have a boss blues driver and i was wondering what would be a good setting to match the tone as well Thank you sm !
I might try to do a similar video for the Black Parade, but it’d overlap a lot with this one. If I did, I think It’d be more of a “get this tone with (x) budget” type video.
Thanks! If you're getting too much sizzle, I'd recommend boosting the individual frequency bands until you figure out the one that makes the hiss the worst and then cutting that one out specifically. For me I have to do this with 3.5k a lot depending on what gear I'm using.
Don’t remember exactly and didn’t make a patch for it but roughly I think it was the lead channel, bass at 1-2 o’clock, mids at 2-3 o’clock, and treble around 11 o’clock. Hope this helps!
I accidentally mixed up which parts frank and ray play in the video. Most of the bottom guitar is frank, but the choruses he plays what the top guitar is playing, and he also plays what the top guitar is playing for the beginning once the tempo gets faster.
This was SO CLOSE to being my first video in 1 take. I played through the song absolutely PERFECTLY, and then the autofocus on my camera decided that we really needed a detailed picture of a cable in the background instead of me, so I had to redo it. It only took one more take though, so that's good at least.
