Stephen movement is terrible lol. Is size up escape is beautiful but his SAME HAND dribble style burst is a slow crossover. Only thing good about his card is his jumpshot. I honestly think 2k is trying to get 4th qtr numbers for shareholders so that's y they dropping LeBron then steph and probably another superstat next week. Less than 1% odds is sad smh. They still greedy smh. Side note, Gary Payton is going to b awesome this year and Penny Hardaway. Their dribble style is it.

so i hope you really see my coment and reply. it seems the dribbling system is really intricate and nice for sim players and maybe park. Will this help in online play myteam specifically. most people still just pick and roll or backdoor. i wish i could dribble but it seems way too complicated. i just want a simple burst to 3 hunt. This system does seam ideal for 5v5 myteam play

Shooting 3s with a 65 3pt with rhythm shooting? Oh yeah I definitely gotta get the hang of rhythm shooting, do you need to be on high risk to hit with that low a 3pt or can I stay on the default and still hit decently?

Yeah MyTeam is shady for not awarding VC in mode but having VC only packs. I agree, Ive been playing Playnow to get some VC for the packs. It’s not efficient, I just like controlling the whole team.
Neither mode is more rewarding. We got more MT for Domination and Unlimited in NBA2K24 than we do in Domination and Showdown this NBA2K25. I played a NBA MyCareer game on All Star difficulty at 5 minute quarters and then at 12 minute quarters. Both games earned around 1300 vc. Mind you, I dropped 100+ points in 12minutequarter game versus 43 points in the 5minutequarter game. Idk. Doesn’t make sense to me. The balance thing is fascinating. We shall see.
I agree with your comparison of the modes. I would venture to say that My Career is much more rewarding, it’s just when people are used to playing with bots the transition to My Career can be tough.

This has really blown me. My most anticipated time of year is always the beginning when nobody has discovered any cheese, nobody is that good, and the cards aren’t good enough to overcompensate for that. Its so annoying
It doesn’t matter about jumpers because the rhythm shooting is broken. You can shoot with any card. 3 attribute doesn’t matter. I don’t miss with wilt.
"Max VC" is irrelevant for your first build because you have to grind the last ten levels. However you do that, you will earn most of the VC to get you to the mid 90s. Your build doesn't have to be 99 to function, most builds are good at 95/96. Many quests in the game to help the grind.
I’m on MyCareer more than MyTeam for the first time! It was a bit overwhelming at the start but just kept playing through it. Using the preorder bonus 100k vc helped a lot, my character is at 81 ovr now from 75, feels like an rpg for ballers lol!
so is everyone still glad the AH is back? like how are you supposed to get enough MT to get these cards? i bought like 10 20 boxes of full throttle and literally got nothing but gold and emerald trash! I couldnt get enough MT OUT OF ALL THAT TO GET LEBRON? this is crazy! obviously i dont mind spending money, but im getting nothing for my money!
The odds are so bad there won’t be enough cards in the auction house for them ever to be affordable to people who don’t spend money or incel weirdos like that lethal kid who sits on a menu.,

Great foundational primer for the year. My first impressions of dribbling were that it could feel sluggish and it was because I was overusing the right stick. Once that left stick became more of a factor, everything opened up. The system is incredibly deep and sets up WAY MORE styles being effective. I'm really excited to learn more!
Push the LS towards the off ball hand. By and large, it's while holding RT but I'd check each dribble style with and without Turbo. 11 and 2 o'clock on the stick.
