I have a question: Can I use my iPhone with my debit card to pay for the ticket and at the same time my mum would use my debit card to pay for the ticket when we travel together? Me and my mum want to spend few days in London and I want her to use my debit card while I use iPhone with the same card registered.
My son will need an oyster card for the tube. Do I connect the oyster card to my cc when purchasing initially and then from there on it will know where to charge for the ride?
Unusual and interesting…Tku can u recommend a tour guide for a fit73 old first time visitor to London who wants to explore your hidden gems in early July?
I can tell you all about the named places, but you cant tell us what they are like. Well its not a true review. All are what some class as high end or just over priced. As a Londoner I would not pay the Tourist Trap money. I will be going to the likes of Gigs, 12 Tottenham St, London W1T 4RE. on the 3rd ofJune, a really good feed and not over priced like the others.
Thanks for your great suggestions. I was in London last month. I went to Greenwich, it's really an amazing place. We had a guide that told us about the history from the stunning architectures and their's queens and kings. The others tipps , I'll visit in my next visit to London. You got a new subscriber.😊
Average price for cod and chips in central London seventeen pound fifty ,,, ridiculous price for a portion of cod and some chips ,, by the way the last time we ate ate Poppies the fish and chips were mediocre at best. Check their prices ,,, bloody outrageous !!
Thanks for these great suggestions. We're headed back to London next year and we'll definitely visit these spots. I would add the Churchill War Rooms and the Royal Observatory Greenwich, both so interesting.
thanks for the info. I've heard from my friends in the UK that it's even better with railcard, and now there are discounts. I'm looking forward to my trip to the UK.
There’s this app where I’ve been snagging some really economical tickets recently-they have a current promotion. I can share the details with you if you’d like.
Hint for all travelers in all cities: If you’re a tourist family with kids, then stay in tourist areas so nobody else has to deal with it 😀 If you’re a fun traveler then welcome and have a great time
Thank you for sharing! I'm going on a trip, too! By the way, I found that I can use code on TRIP to get a discount on the purchase of tickets, which saves my budget haha!❤
I’m due to visit London and will be travelling from Euston Square to Northwood Hills (and back). Am I right in thinking that I tap my bank card on the way into Euston Square, then tap it to get out at Northwood Hills, and then my bank will work out my journey price and charge me? Then same again for the return journey?
You simply tap your card or device on the card reader when entering and exiting the stations, and your bank will calculate the fare based on your journey. This makes traveling around London hassle-free and eliminates the need for purchasing individual tickets. But there are oyster cards and railcards that are cheaper.
