Hi Joe, I was wondering if you could help. Im 32 and moving to London in September. Mature student. I’ll be studying at the university of Westminster in Marylebone. I barely know anywhere in London and literally don’t know a single person there yet. I’m really excited but also super nervous. I need to find a room to rent with good transport links to my university and obviously since I’ll be an impoverished student will need to keep the costs as low as possible (hilarious I know) Also want to feel as safe as possible. I’m just stuck with what areas to focus my search on. I’ve watched your videos about the trendy areas and loved it but I’m absolutely not cool or hipster enough and probably don’t have the budget for most of these areas. I’m much more of a coffee connoisseur than a party animal, that said I am still very sociable want to be able to explore these places as much as possible. Anyway, enough rambling on from me, I’d be grateful for any suggestions RE areas you have. Thanks. Have a great weekend.
