I've been speaking to my for awhile now about to see if grants are available churches. My wife her uncle owns a church in Monroe, LA and funds his church all by himself except for the money we donate to him & I jumped on RU-vid and found your video. I live in Arizona but we want to help him out because he's a GREAT man & uncle to her but like I said we live in a different state do I need to rewatch the & go from there or can you give me a 1 step starter point so can do the rest?
Hi there! Kindly check the church's eligibility first. This is a good starting point for you: reachrightstudios.com/grant-eligibility-checker/ And yes, feel free to watch our other resources about Google Ad Grant.
Thank you for your help. I'll check it out. We just had a new site built. I am assuming this work with the devi theme? I'm new and learning . Thanks for you reply. God bless you
@@jradhouser For me, it has been. It does a much better job in suggesting relevant clips. It also does a better job with reframing to keep the speaker centered.
sermon shots meets with you and you meet with a real person and has pretty good customer service. They keep adding features but those features are available if you pay more.
@@reachright yeah. I don’t like subscription models where you buy a product especially for a year to get a better rate and then in a couple months they say well if you pay just a little more…. That’s my get off my lawn moment. HOWEVER!! Customer service from sermonshots was wonderful. They even recovered some of my clips after the system glitched and saved me hours of work.
I am using SermonShots for my church and I’m loving it. Some things I think you missed in your review (understandingly) are the following. There are approximately 10 suggested clips generated for each sermon, with each one being editable. You can easily take lines out or add lines by simply clicking a plus or minus sign. Using this editing, you can also create a fully custom-created clip of whatever length you choose. Second, in addition to the tools you highlighted, there is a 5-day devotional created from each sermon. Each one includes a devotional thought, a verse from the sermon, a quote from the sermon, a reflective question, and a short prayer. Third, there is a recently added image quote tool. For each sermon, there are approximately 15 short quotes selected. You can choose a quote and choose from a growing number of backgrounds. Additionally, you can select a moment from the sermon from which to extract the speaker from the background and place him/her onto the quote image. It looks pretty cool. Finally, there is a feature that is scheduled to be released this week. As I understand it, it will function somewhat like the image quote tool, but it will be used to create thumbnails. Once, this feature is released, I hope that you will do an in-depth review of SermonShots. I create my church’s social media but pay for most of the tools out of my own pocket, so I am very cost conscious and look for the most bang for the buck. So far, I’ve not found anything that matches SermonShots. If you’d like to see some of what I’ve created, just reach out to me.
Thanks so much for taking the time to give your feedback on Sermon Shots, Neal! We love to hear that Sermon Shots is making an impact on you and your ministry! Thank you for being a valued user of Sermon Shots!
We have been using Opus Clip for about 6 months now after using Sermon Shots for a year. A rep from Sermon Shots reached out to me to try to get us back. I tried it out but Opus Clip is better in 2 distinct ways. 1. I can edit my clips to any length I want. Sermon Shots forces you to under 3 minutes. 2. The biggest benefit of Opus Clip BY FAR is that I can schedule posts on FB, IG, Tik Tok and YT all at the same time and not think about it again for a week! This is such a perfect time saver! I like the direction that Sermon Shots is going but if they could add these 2 features I would go back!
It would be amazing to get more insight as to what has really gone on at these growing churches beyond their website design. Attendance quadrupling in one year is an unusual phenomenon. Where have they come from? Have they exited other churches or are they new to it? A comment the churches themselves would shed a lot more light.
Agree. It’s interesting to consider where new members are coming from, and we agree that more transparency from the churches themselves could provide valuable insight. We have other video resources that talks about this area as well.
Awesome. We have different resources for you here. Feel free to watch the ones you think might you help best. Leave questions too and we will try to answer and help, brother.
The artist was evidently one who was meticulous in his or her craft and sometimes I lost focus. To be honest, it may not the creator’s fault, but I’m so bored that I can’t focus on watching videos.
I am not with a church. I've had a side gig filming events since 2010. My day job is in IT for local government and in 2020 they leaned heavily on my video knowledge so we could stream meetings and events that the public would normally attend. I started using PTZ cameras for events shortly after the original ATEM mini was released. They are just such a great fit for the type of work I do. Even when just recording and not streaming. It's amazing what you can accomplish with just 2 PTZs. That's all I use most of the time but I have used up to 4 a couple times but it's really overkill. I've found most of the time if I put 1 in the back of the room and 1 at the front, mostly for audience shots it's plenty. A lot of the time I'll put up an extra cam for a static wide shot of the stage or room and I'll cut to that when moving the back PTZ to a different angle. Most positions are pre-set so it's rare I'm moving a camera in the live shot. I really wish BMD would release a mini ISO version with NDI or SRT. As it stands I end up running 2 network cables for my PTZs. One for power and control and one that converts HDMI to ethernet. Personally I'll take ethernet over SDI, it's lighter and easier to manage for a portable rig.
Hey there! It looks like you can embed private and unlisted videos from RU-vid to a website. For the private videos, you'd have to give required credentials or access to the channel, but for the unlisted videos, they can be seen by anyone with a link to the video. Hope that helps.
Can you explain more about the limitations for mental health. Our non-profit was accepted for a Google ads grant. However we are a faith-based mental health and social services organization. Is there any way we would be able to advertise our non-profit?
Google has some information here: support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/176031?hl=en We have been able to help similar organizations to yours use the grant, but it took some trial and error. Several of our Ads had to be reworked to keep the non-profit compliant, but it can be done. Have you tried running ads for your services yet? What have you found?
