What are some tips for images to get a good depth map output? The images I have been using output a depth map that is mostly 1 color with not much contrast & my result barely looks 2D
I'm having problems with this. I followed your instruction perfectly, Many times! For some reason the action starts out well, but by the third or fourth iteration (every time I try it is different, sometimes 3, 4 or five times) the action glitches. Sometimes it doesn't paste the single pixel line, sometimes it pastes it in the wrong place or doesn't move it. It's really odd. The glitch behaves differently every time. What am I doing wrong?
I usually try to replicate4 your tutorials in other software (because of how heavy they are on the underlying theory), but this one is so specific to photoshop that I may have to get creative lmao
Man, you saved my day. My client just asked for something like this. I didn't know how to do it, but you just saved me. TextureLab explains the meaning for understanding and experience. ❤
Man this is genius, but also ... everyone can understand it with the way you explained it. I'm a graphic designer and a teacher, and i appreciate both these skills that you show on these vids ! Bravo.
The usual. The most intelligent way of using Phostoshop and the best way of explaining it, all in a magnificent video ! It's starting to become a mix between programming and design, which I love ! Thank you so much for what you're doing !
I've been using photoshop professionally for over ten years and have built a lot of actions in my time and feel quite strong with my skillset, particularly in hotkeys and quick use of the software. This is hands down the greatest photoshop video I have ever seen. From the INCREDIBLE edit with all your visualisations, to the little bits of knowledge (that actions look for the first layer with that name from the bottom of the layer list???), this is a phenomenal tool. Thank you so much, you have a new subscriber for life!
Thank you for including a way for those of us who still have/use old versions of PS - that we actually bought - to do this. I’m not keen to deal with Adobe’s “subscription” plans…. especially after their most recent update to their TOS.
