Ive always thought your instrument sounded incredible Tim, and would love to own one myself. But why the individual tuners instead of a modern headless guitar bridge? Is it a weight thing?
Thank you DQ- I simply love the Gotoh tuners and tune-O-matic bridge that I designed the instrument around. Yes, I could have gone with a headless tuner/bridge arrangement, but there isn't a big benefit in doing so IMO. The HG's design would radically change as well, and maintaining one style of tuner throughout the intrument, coupled with a tune-O-matic bridge was my main criteria for the design. Thanks for weighing in DQ!

When I was a young teen (Over 20years ago) I went into a small CD shop and while I was browsing they had your record 'Voices in the Wind' playing. I had to ask what it was and brought it on the spot. Loved it. I'm a huge fan of people like Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eric johnso, Guthrie Govan etc but none of them made instrument guitar music as catchy as yours and its still always something I reference when composing myself. I think the amazing guitarist have made its own funeral for guitar by just doing records of pure technique and I think it could have staid main stream longer if people remembered melody is key. Anyway I still listen to some of your instruments and am glad you have hit RU-vid.
This soundtrack is definitely a favorite, Tim. You did SUCH an amazing job under crazy time restrictions. I can't imagine what it was like. BUT, you have the intelligence and talent it takes to work under such conditions. Thank you for sharing. :-) You are a musical Godsend.
Another really great track Tim :) I'm not sure if you're familiar with the band Animals As Leaders, but the tapping parts you did was really reminiscent of Tosin Abasi's style.
