Ive always thought your instrument sounded incredible Tim, and would love to own one myself. But why the individual tuners instead of a modern headless guitar bridge? Is it a weight thing?
Thank you DQ- I simply love the Gotoh tuners and tune-O-matic bridge that I designed the instrument around. Yes, I could have gone with a headless tuner/bridge arrangement, but there isn't a big benefit in doing so IMO. The HG's design would radically change as well, and maintaining one style of tuner throughout the intrument, coupled with a tune-O-matic bridge was my main criteria for the design.
