AN ORGANIZATION TO PRESERVE MUSIC OF PT. RAVI SHANKAR ✨️
A master of the sitar as well as a famous experimenter with its classical forms, Ravi Shankar was probably the world's best-known Indian musician. First recorded in 1936, he had a rich career that spanned nine decades. His mentoring of the Beatles during the height oftheir fame in the 1960s helped bring him to the attention of Western audiences, but Shankar's influence obviously extends far beyond Western pop, and he spent much of his career bridging the gap between musical cultures.

Arey Bhai, Bangladesh me jo Hinduon par atyachar ho rha hai uske baare me to soch lo Bhaiya. Celebrate karne ki koi cheez hai isme? Pt. Ravi Shankar ji ne Bangladesh pe huye zulmon ke liye relief concert kiya tha, yadi wo aaj humaare saath hote zarur Bangladeshi Hinduon par jo aatank ho rha hai uske liye bhi ek concert karte.
Hello dear, I love your channel and Pandit Ji’s music is so divine. If Pandit Ji and Ustad Ali Akbar were alive today, I’m sure they would have not supported the g*nocide of innocent Hindus in Bangladesh.
There is an incredible section, beginning about 4:00, lasting a full minute long, in which the two are playing in parallel 5ths, from Ga and Ni respectively, of course entirely spontaneous, and revealing their symbiotic yet competetive natures.
UNBELIEVABLE! Having the whole concert here is a dream come true. I bought the CD in 1989. I've played that CD more than any other CD. It rises above my favs, like Beatles, Alice Cooper, Dylan, Yes and others. This video is so important to me. The CD is SUPER edited. Deepest thanks and gratitude to RAGA MALA!
