When Albedo is sharing his story he says that subject 2 has found another victim for his plan to become a human being. And then, as if it were miracle, Joseph appears after being heavily implied his death. I'll give you some time to make the connection. The theory is that Susbedo (subject 2), maybe with help of Albedo, impersonated Joseph and replaced him. I would love to hear your thoughts in this tho!

The "prank" at the end was likely Albedo testing the Traveler's ability to tell if he was real or not regardless of if he had the mark or not. Especially since he tried to remind the Traveler about the gardener talk where he trusts us to be able to tell him from the imposters. He can actually be pretty mischievous and humorous from time to time. A lot of the community is still at odds over the fate of Subject Two. Some of them believe Albedo really did kill him. Some believe he let him be on the condition that he would not try to replace him and hurt others. Others believe Albedo convinced him to shape himself into an amnesiac Joserf so he could still experience being human and replace a possibly dead Joserf. Also yeah the finding Joserf as a permanent world quest thing was added after the event I think.

When Albedo said imposter at 36:33, this is what created Susbedo name. Back then Among Us was at its peak or was at its peak a bit before this.

I still got the four Snowman and Paimonalisa Painting by Albedo displayed in my Teapot.

More info and clarification: Actually there are three albedo on this quest.. the real Albedo, Susbedo(the imposter) and the whopperbedo(whopper flower).. susbedo copy albedo appearance again using alchemy (presumably he learned this from stolen alchemy note) and use it to create whopperbedo.. that's why after the team killed whopperbedo.. at the end of albedo cutscene monologue you can still see susbedo looking at albedo on at top of the mountain. 1:54:03 Gold feed susbedo to durin.

This was an interesting event storyline. Not exactly necessary to watch before Fontaine. This was one of the first events I played when I started playing. I missed the first Dragonspine event. This was scary because my characters were all very low level and Dragonspine was still a very dangerous place to go. And every thing took place on the mountain. It was fun to see more of Benny and Eula though.

1:26 yea it was pretty widely acknowledged in the community that Albedo was an alchemical creation looong before this event but this was sort of the games way of letting Aether/Lumine know about this twist :3

Let's be real here. As someone who plays in EN, two of the most underraed VAs are Qiqi and Layla's EN voices. With other character VA, you can speak normally but alter your pitch a bit (example: Jenny Yokobori as Yoimiya; Amber Lee Connors as Furina/Focalors), but with Layla, her VA must constantly sound sleepy, and Qiqi's VA must constantly sound lifeless (understandable, considering her role as a zombie). To me, just thinkimg about it is tough. So kudos to them!

A lot of mention of Chenyu Vale in this quest and it made me think if you have explored Chenyu Vale just yet-- as in the World Quests and lore? It is a part of Liyue but they gave it to us much much later than the point in time you are at. Maybe the Patreon lovelies can help suggest to you when you could explore it (so it feels natural to do the lore and stuff) Love Baizhu so much. He's so precious. Before these details about him came to light many of the people in the fandom actually found him super suspicious. I suppose the Voice direction in EN is kind of at fault? Its amazingggg but it makes him sound sooo suspicious as compared to the rest. But ahh i still love him. He is so gentle. so kind. Just like with Changsheng. He doesnt want her to be alone and he doesnt want anyone else after him to suffer his fate. THIS is why he is searching for immortality. so he can continue to help people in such a way and not let Changsheng die alone. He truly is selfless and gentle and kind but he loves being perceived as suspicious. i think its an entertaining trait. P.S. The Chi snake aka the dead god that Xiao mentioned is a part of a world quest if you wanna note it down. mentioning just in case. like you mentioned in the other video, you cannot do every single quest coz there are a lotttttt. but we can help you if you wanna know about lore via World Quests

You can either do Xianyuns quest now or later on! Either way is fine. Lantern rite 3.5 did come out before Fontaine. And Xianyuns story quest came out after Fontaine during the lantern rite early this year. But it’s okay to do her quest now or later. If you did want to do the quests in order, that would look like: -3.5 lantern rite reaction -Fontaine etc. -Xianyun story quest But it really would be fine to do it your other plan

51:11 the song is titled “Deduction Denouement” (Pronounced day-new-maan) and the song that plays during the actual retelling of the case at around 53:12 is called “Mystery Unraveled”.

In my opinion, Chapter 0 was the best “case” in the entire game for me; as I say sadly. It ranks as high as the first case for Danganronpa V3 for that twist. (And there is another case in this game that is just as good but where not there yet) My point is that this case blew my mind and expectations right off the bat, which I can’t say for the rest of the game.
