I've been doing walking tours in London for 11 years, and this year (2023), I'm attempting to post a fun London Fact every day on various social media platforms and will post some here too.
This is a building that is not made from tofudreg construction. And the fact that people can still live in it with all that history is amazing. And to think thst this jouse survived the the great fire of London in 1666 is astonishing. Buolt to last.
We have loads of old houses like this. 😂 And heck our stone walls have been in the same places since the stone ages. 😂 The old roads often started as Badger 🦡 trails and we used them because they were easy to transit through and always had a water source. And if they ever get knocked down they just get restacked. 😂 Heck any church built after the Victorian tunes is classed as new. 😂 I couldn't attend new churches. It feels weird. The old buildings have so many special touches. They're a joy to live in. ❤❤❤
When Larry the cat needs to get back in. He sometimes needs to persuade the policeman on duty to knock the famous black door for the doorman to open it for him!
Cant stand the man he wants to.let the majority of migrants in they will be taking all of the affordable housing and who pays for them while asylum is being looked at
Your channel is bloody great! (I know that sounds like something a bot would say, but I'm just trying to be genuine and complimentary)* *I'm also aware that THAT sounds like something a bot would say.
I mean you could say they rebuilt on top off the old station, adding on on the Elizabeth line but because that one runs deeper than all the other lines that’s why it seems like the overground is underground. They also bought that bit over to into one station as both the over and underground was once two separate station. So imagine people who tap out and have to rush to the other station within 10 min in order to not get extra charge and for it to be a continuous journey…..
Just found out about guy fawkes tonight(thank you "the crown").. and the fact that I already lived in this street before knowing it gave me the creeps!
MAGGIE INHERITED A BROKEN BRITAIN, FROM A LABOUR GOVERNMENT IN THE PALM OF THE UNIONS, SHE SUMMED IT UP BY SAYING, ''THE TROUBLE WITH SOCIALISM IS, THEY ALWAYS RUN OUT OF OTHER PEOPLES MONEY''.
