I haven't watched the whole video yet so maybe the answer is in the video but did anyone know of a video where it shows you how to remove the instrument cluster
I used to be a technical instructor in the USAF, one point, your audience/students cannot learn when your back is facing them. Next, what did you use to clean the surface before applying the decal. I like the stripe you applied. Hint: show the tape you used, you did, next show the surface cleaner and it’s use, show the tape and it’s many parts, get the idea I’m talking about. You never explained the importance of the “clean” surface.

I noticed you cut the silver pieces to end at the very edge of the door - some other videos i watched wrapped the tape back around/under the edge of the panel. Is there a reason for doing it one way vs another, or is one more professional?
I just resealed my rear window and replaced both cab seal/strips while the window was out. Thank you for the video! My cab corner strips were just old and dry rotted so i wanted to replace them but after reading more I am glad I did because some people said the rivets caused their leak.
I takeoff the top clear layer all in one piece and then I go back and cut in between the doors. I got a watch this again because I really didn’t see what you did. I saw you trim before you took the clear off. The hardest part for me is taking that clear off.
Right after he removes the tape from the new 3m seal on the glass he shows the back of the cab and there is a lot of residue left from the OEM seal. Will the 3M window weld tape seal to that residue? If it all needs to be removed what works the best?
This helps so I can replace my window switch. Wasn’t sure exactly how that cover came out! Don’t happen to have a video how to do the cigarette outlet in the center console do you?
@@ashuua2909 I've thought of picking up from the junk yard as well, but I'm reading lots of the installers from lexus will be new guys or they just don't care, leave a bunch stuff loose inside the dash and you'll hear screws for example bouncing all around. This job looks a bit much for me as I don't have a garage. I actually read someone got their insurance to cover everything, so I'm gonna try to at least see what they say.
Tbh it does not seem complicated at all. I'm not mechanically inclined either, but if u have something else to drive I'd say take ur time and give it a shot. I'm gonna do it once I find a dash.
