Yess dear. So here is the trick, after getting the Crotch depth. Eventually you will have to take away 1 inch at the front trouser piece. So for me, in other to maintain my exact crotch depth, I don’t take away Band Length. Because the band will make up for the 1 inch slant you have taken away and you’re going to end up with the initial Crotch depth you had. I hope this helps

The length of the elastic should be your desired skirt length
