You’re Most Welcome. For Medium Size, 2 and half yard can work. If you’re on a Big Size, make use of 3 yards.

Chiffon can also work. To make it look exactly like this, you should make use of Thick Crepe Fabric

The Back Crotch is wider than the front by 2 inches. If you follow the tutorial correctly.

There is a 1 inch slant on the waistline of the front piece, Making the back piece longer than the front. Hence, there isn’t any need for extension of length at the back.
