Amazing! I enjoy stopping to read the Heritage Toronto plaques on buildings, so I throughly enjoyed your videography and commentary. I live in Old Town and would love to see you add it to your neighbourhood series.
i cant imagine the stores will be there that long. i hope i’m wrong. but gotta be huge rent and is it ever as busy as it needs to be 🤷♀️. mall are becoming a thing of the past.
Thank you! Typically yes it will be cool at the end of Oct but I would plan for anything. It could be t-shirt weather or it could be cold enough for a jacket.. the weather is pretty unpredictable here so plan for anything. But typically it’s cool, especially near the falls as the mist can get pretty cold.
Well made video that shows the good side of Hamilton. Unfortunately, having worked and lived in the Downtown area for 10 years, I would not recommend Hamilton to anyone. Dirty, dangerous, dumpster fire.
As a travel worker staying in Alexandria right now I appreciate the list! I already checked out sugarloaf mountain and I’m looking forward to checking out some of these options in the fall!
Am I the only person who sees changing this place into a waterpark as a no brainer? I mean, it's literally already called Marine Land. They might need some new investors to make it happen, but it would be a huge hit.
I'm planning a trip to the falls next year september. [first time in Canada] I've started watching a bunch of videos about the area, especially Toronto, but boy does that city give off weird and bad vibes. I'm thinking that looking at these smaller villages, around the area, might be the way to go as a base station for me and my family. Looking at things from a European perspective (Netherlands), this first village entry immediately piqued my curiosity and ticks off the right boxes for what I'm into: serene, tranquil, friendly/warm/welcoming appearance, beautiful nature, small town historical vibes. Main concern is probably ease of transportation access from the airport to the selected small village of choice and then to the falls and back. Luckily, this short introduction is already pointing me into a preferred direction of research.
Toronto is very congested and if you plan to travel around Ontario and explore different areas I’d definitely suggest staying outside of Toronto. Niagara-on-the-Lake has some beautiful hotels and restaurants. I would recommend staying here instead of staying in Niagara Falls. Not sure how far you are planning to go while in Ontario but some other areas to check out would be the Bruce Peninsula and Muskoka, but you’d have to book hotels for those as they are about 3 to 4 hours north.
Situated near some of the worst intersections in Toronto, Wellington and Portland, Spadina and front st. And Bathurst and front. Is The Well. Once you get there it’s a great location. But leaving.. you’ll be stuck in traffic for hours. Drive west on Wellington to Portland and you’ll witness an embarrassment of Toronto’s city planning, why they haven’t installed a traffic light, is pure negligence. On a daily pedestrians get hit by cars just trying to make it through that intersection. Down at front st and Bathurst you could be sitting there for hours until you make your turn, only to sit in more congestive traffic. With a poor layout, and negligence to install traffic lights and cross walks. The Well is beautiful but the intersections surrounding it are a nightmare
Really enjoyed this video. Good script, images, overall flows nicely. One thing I enjoy, not really explored, is running along the multi-use path from Arboretum all the way to Parliament (and further into Gatineau if you want); it's a nice 7km + uninterrupted path for walking, biking, and running connecting you throughout the city. It's a gem. The parkways are also great in the summer and Lansdowne restaurants, markets and activities are worth exploring too. Well done.
Love your videos! How about Evergreen Brickworks during Saturday mornings when the farmer's market + children's garden is open? It's a place with history, natural beauty, turtles, hiking trails
Amazing videos man! Tomorrow is the free entrance for the ROM Royal Ontario museum in toronto (third Tuesday of the month) I’m gonna be there ❤ thanks for sharing amazing content cheers man
There is a serious issue we must all face. It's cruelty to tomatoes. Thousands are cut up every single day to make sandwiches. What about tomatoes rights???
I loved watching this. I was born in downtown Toronto and lived there until I moved to Costa Rica when I was 40. Canada too cold for me. I’ve read the Science Center has been closed because of structural issues. That’s really sad because it was always one of my favorite places to go... as well as AGO, ROM, Metro Zoo, Toronto islands... I worked in Kensington market for several years while I went to University of Toronto. It’s a great city and I always love visiting, even during the winter ❤
What a cool concept for a series! And as usual such a beautiful video for one of my fave spots in southern Ontario, can’t wait for the rest of the episodes <3
Thanks Ahmad! Glad you like the concept. Not sure it will be a popular series with anyone who’s not local lol but it’s more of a passion project. There’s some beautiful areas that I’m excited to cover!
Una excelente guía de los lugares que no hay que dejar de visitar. Viajo este fin de mes a otawa y con ésta información me facilitas mi viaje turístico. Muchas gracias, te felicito por tu video. Saludos.
I was there sept 7, last week. About 49 ppl were at the grotto sunning. Barely anyone anywhere else. We also saw a snake but it was swimming. Arrived at noon. Swam. Beautiful spot in the world for sure. He is correct. Enjoy the grotto but keep walking up the beach. It’s awesome. Inland is nice too though.
Wow. Such a whiney generation of Dudley Do Rights and Karens... sadly you don't realize or see whats coming in the near future. Children and Pets are abused every second of the day but boycot a Theme Park. Wish You People Paid this much attention to every thing else going on in Canada. Good for you - hope this makes you sleep better at night. Wow
