I've got the same machine as you. It has the factory engine in it whatever that is. It works pretty good but I find that when I hit some Woods it makes my belt squeal
We give free quotes so customer knows the price before we start, and then get paid once the job is done. We’ve never collected a deposit, but not opposed to it - just never felt like it was needed.
We have guards, but typically only use them when we are closer to houses or roads. I just have my tripod set up way closer than you should stand and it gets hit from time to time. This was the first one that was able to knock it over though lol.
Hahaha! It doesn’t matter how many times I clean it, I always end up looking around instead of through. I’m glad our remote is finally fixed and working again 😭
@@stumpproswv we have a smaller machine too that doesn’t have a remote and same setup and I’m constantly looking around glass, haha! The Vermeer is AMAZING with that remote though and the machine is just a beast

We got the Vanguard 35 HP motor, not sure if the same process would work for any other models. My dad and I did it, and had my brother make the mount. He manages a CNC and fabricating shop.
I know a guy that lost half his foot to a stump grinder...100% his fault...he tried to kick free a rock before the operator could stop the grinder...Ouch
Like watching your videos, but how about getting rid of the background music? I enjoy listening to the machine and the grinding sounds. I grind stumps myself and love the sound of the teeth chipping away at the stump. It would make your videos much more enjoyable for me.
I’ve been trying to keep the original sound from the video when I can but it sounds terrible when the video is sped up - so I put the background music in so it isn’t just silence lol
@stumpproswv I would just edit it then and keep the sound. That's what Chris's stump grinding channel does. He shows most of it and the main highlights and edits the monotonous stuff. I know what you mean about speeding up though. You've probably watched his channel.? I really enjoy the way he does it. Thanks.
Started at 700 am this morning was done by 600 pm using the sc70tx 30 trees taken down and this muscled through with efficiency and doing so safely Awesome machine
I was grinding stumps today & had concrete inside the stump. Hit steel spikes from years ago when they didn't remove them from the form, only tore all my teeth up.
I just bought a Rayco rg55t stump grinder, & it's a mean machine. I know not compared to the 67hp, but none the less it makes quick work out of any stump.
