Sure looked like it to me. Looked like you got down almost to bottom of the root ball. Still some roots to chase but depends on what customer wants. Sure like the look of hauling the chips off. Great job 👍
I’m no gardener but I’ve watched a few stump grinding videos this morning and yours seem to me to highlight the difference between a professional and a job by DIY Dave That includes the video itself I am not interested in you off loading the grinder off your trailer like most of the amateur videos 18 seconds in and you were cutting wood Also I don’t see how you could go much deeper Great video, great work
Thanks man! I really appreciate your comment! I’m about to start editing a video on a big uprooted stump that we just ground out this past week, I think I’m going to do a commentary over it this time to explain why we did what we did.
Thank you Jim! What stump grinder do you have?! We generally like to go about 8-10 inches deep with our SC70TX. With our 252 we usually go about 6 inches deep.
@@stumpproswv stumps, first timer, rented a machine. Had 2 that had mounds of roots around the perimeter, those were tough. Much respect to those who do it for a living day in and day out 🙌🏼
Oh nice! What machine did you rent? That makes a big difference lol. Roots are definitely the worst. Most of the time it takes us longer to get those than it does to grind the stump.
