Hello my name is Kathy and I have always been a country girl. I live in a rural setting among the forest. I enjoy learning new things . In fact I believe in learning something new each day and I hope to share what I learn in these videos. My main interest are gardening, raising animals, all kinds of crafts, music and traveling. Come join me in this journey called life with me by hitting the subscribe button and the bell icon. I do my best to release a new video every Friday.
I thought I'd be really smart and start tomatoes indoors with grow lights. I ended up with nothing. Luckily, I had tossed some rotten garden tomatoes in outdoor pots last fall. They sprouted in the spring, so I used then instead.
You can also set up a small tent and put a blanket over it. Will keep your body heat trapped in tent. No tent, drape 2 or 3 blankets over a table and sleep there. Sleeping bags are a must.
Thank you for doing this along with your mom. They're being very secretive about everything and I'm thankful you're interviewing and bringing it out in the open. Your channel will go far as long as they don't shut it down. New sub. Sharing!
You can also have pieces of cardboard cut to window size and put up on the windows inside the curtains, especially during the night. You can even put cardboard against the outside walls to keep the cold from seeping through. An electric coffee pot might be able to plug into a power charger to boil water for soup to have hot food. A busun burner camping stove might be useable. I'm not sure if you need to have fresh air for that though.
you work very hard and you harvest the labor of your works, keep up the good work and perseverance! And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.
Like the video (we are in Indiana too!), we are trying to get an idea of how we can tell what types we have....I guess that if we start mounding and they don't grow new shoots, then they are determinate? I REALLY don't want to buy seed potatoes from a store and just use old ones that we have in the pantry.
ohhhh Kathy!!! We had a ball python! Named Monty after Monty Python! Awww I miss Monty! Our Son, Lance brought him home one day from a friends spring of 2005 just 3 weeks before he left to teach English in Taiwan. He said "you'll look after him, right Mom" haha cute. As a kid we had lizards and I loved catching garden snakes. And of course I looked after Monty. I gave him to a friend who's son had another ball python after Lance passed away in 2017. It was a very hard decision for me... but with our dog Charlie and our cat Shadow... I dunno... I just felt I wasn't bringing Monty out enough and there was just to much sadness... well, the sadness hasn't changed that much but. It's really nice to see Artie! Thanks for sharing.
Hello Kathy, I searched under google and this video came up! Well aren't you famous! Way to go! I was searching about store bought beets. Hubby and I don't seem to finish a whole jar right away. I know its pickled but I'd hate to think how long we've left them in the fridge! lol. I've also made them in the past from fresh.... anyhoot. What do you about freezing some from a store bought jar? Have an amazing day! Hugs from Ontario, Canada ... p.s. I love your wee garland above your doorway there! Is that wee houses?
