Keeping warm when the power goes out.

The weather outside if frigid. So far, we have not had any power outages, but many people and our area have experienced this hardship. Do you have a plan for this type of emergency?

You can also set up a small tent and put a blanket over it. Will keep your body heat trapped in tent. No tent, drape 2 or 3 blankets over a table and sleep there. Sleeping bags are a must.

You can also have pieces of cardboard cut to window size and put up on the windows inside the curtains, especially during the night. You can even put cardboard against the outside walls to keep the cold from seeping through. An electric coffee pot might be able to plug into a power charger to boil water for soup to have hot food. A busun burner camping stove might be useable. I'm not sure if you need to have fresh air for that though.
