So called flying cars have been around since the 40s and they have always had the same problems being super expensive, bad for driving and bad for flying.
It almost brings a tear to my eye… We've been dreaming about this moment for decades, even centuries to have flying cars, and we've finally done it! 🥹 Let this be a historic moment for humanity!
Jeśli to ktoś przeczyta w przyszłości to sądze, że to prymitywny samochów albo samolot Prymitywny, bo tak jest, w XIX wieku też mieli samochody ale bardzo prymitywne, po prostu zaczynali i się rozwijali jak teraz wy. Mimo iż oczami człowieka z roku Pańskiego 2024 wygląda to oszałamiająco ja patrzę dalej. Patrze nie teraz tym kim jestem lecz tym czym to auto będzię w przyszłości.
Now that is nice...But is it practical like an average car?...The holding capacity?...I've watched a few different makers of 'flying cars' on youtube and all of them, at best, you would considered a size of a 'race car ' which is not practical for an average everyday commuting. I think there was one that say it can handle up to 3 people max, but can't carry anything else and the range is only 10 or so miles, or something like that...If we ever can reach the practicality of it, I'm sure I'd be dead by then lol
This isn't a car, it is just a low-profile quick-takeoff plane, but that in itself is very impressive and very much has a market. I can see this replacing small private planes in the near future if it has a similar range.
It’s a rear-prop airplane that can be driven (at not any high speed) on a road. Or, it’s a slow, bulky, two-seater car with a massively oversized spoiler and a propeller that has to be driven to an airport runway in order to get it airborne. ht: TSS
You still need to follow the same flight paths as a plane, check airworthiness before every flight, restricted to taking off and landing on airfields, avoiding build up areas in flight...Technically a virtually unusable low performance car mated with a really slow plane. If it was a good idea we'd be seeing them in use today.
We still haven't got them and never will...Not what we were promised anyway....So you have to drive slowly to an airport with a police escort, then hang around for an hour or so for a safety check and permission to take off. Then follow a pre planned flight path avoiding any built up areas...No flying at night....etc etc.
@@LiberTeaBag They will have to follow aviation protocols. So pilots licence required, and that immediately rules out 95% of the population. No night flights or flying over built up areas. Noise complaints would soon end any attempt to make these universal. Take off and landing only possible from air fields subject to air traffic control, not from public roads. Full safety check before transforming from car to plane. You'e just watched a film showing how much planning went into one trip. The whole thing would have taken a fraction of the time and effort in a separate car & private jet...The design problem is, what make a good plane doesn't make a good car...& vice versa.
