It all boils down to one wrapper, had a couple of hits. Neither of guy comes out. He's white has more success than he does. And now that's a problem, because the black guy didn't become rich and famous, same old, same old
Black rappers have said worse about black women and I’m a black woman myself… Eminem fan albeit but it doesn’t matter, they’re literally trying to gatekeep speaking down on bw it’s crazy.
Em was raised around black people. He’s had to prove himself on the streets. He’s like a brother to his friends and his friends are a brother to him. And we know how we treat each other. What’s the problem?
They're on tour right now. All your conspiracy is bull. Bas was a music teacher, he knows rhythm and flow, combined with their cockney background and love of crosswords they know how to write. Their grandkids make the beats and help with modern slang. You are all just jealous haters, go watch one of their shows, they're legit.
Uk rap is bad because it tries to completely copy us rap. It’s got similar flow, similar beat, not to mention the exact same content talking about gangbanging and shooting and stuff, but that’s not real to the uk. Get your own unique culture. I’ve seen uk rappers holding up finger guns and shit cuz they can’t get a real gun😂😂😂😂 Rap about shit that’s true to you
You retard. You dont know eminem or his actions. lolHe is def racist. He took the dr dre version of the diddy challenge and it was all good his ass was owned. he is trash. Look at when dr drfe looked like diddy in hhis early years. He would sell is ass to anyone to get out the ghetto bc he would be erased in the real world.
So is the “truth” in the room with us or is it just a bunch of opinions and an unnamed altered voice on the phone with an incomplete conversation and an unnamed website screenshot and unnamed company? Seems super solid, “more than likely.”
I think it's funny how many people are still falling for the Pete and Bas thing. I love the concept and the music but I watch them fully knowing it's not their voice nor their bars.
I wish i had more people around me at the time who appreciated their first album as I did. I had to order in their album into NZ. What a time to be alive
This is shocking to me. I never heard anything about smileys death. Extremely sad and heartbreaking 💔. He was a real character. I just woke up strangely with ‘ police officer’ going through my head. And thought I’d search it on google. Hence,… bringing me here. So his death was all kept very quiet in Birmingham where I’m from. And I never had a clue he wasn’t with us anymore. Saddening news. RIP smiley culture. 🙏🏻💔🙏🏻💯💯👌👌
When they perform live, they aren't at the level in the studio. Not because of effects but because they are miming to younger rappers who have created the whole thing. They are really good, so it's a shame they need a gimmick to get the attention deserved. But Pete and Bas perform well and are great characters, so it's nice to just enjoy it. It doesn't need some Cook report style investigation.
All i hear from UK rappers is UK drill. And while you can spit fast, it's so proper sounding. like I heard an AI Harry Potter rap and it sounds exactly like you lmao Plus admittedly i got no clue what words yall saying, as said in the video
Brits talk too much shit about Americans and the London club scene is NOT inviting to outsiders. Rap doesnt break culturally online the way rock does. With rap the two communities have to be able to physically mix or it wont work. Ive been to rap shows in London and yall are especially rude and nasty to American blacks for no fucking reason. Throughout rap history on thing you always here when two cities mix is that a rapper goes to another city and the club scene gives mad love to the visitng artist. Non American blacks get treated well in the US, but yall dont rap about universal issues and the UK slang is so heavy most Americans can't understand it. If you want the cultures to meld: 1. Start treating Americans better in UK clubs. 2. When you play in the USA try to perform songs we'll relate to more. 3. When youre in the USA make friends, hang out, smoke a blunt, relax, stop acting like youre better than us.
So you called and recorded a conversation where you lied to them? You don't identify yourself when you call, and say you won't compromise the project or reveal what's going on. Except for posting that revealing conversation. Oh please.
Nobody thinks that homie is a rapper lol. Uk and britiain is the epitome of white culture. Now they want to say their rap is up to par to black culture or, us rap.
US Drill rap is waaay better, when you sound pra-per you lost it. And im saying this as, the flow is super repetitive. Almost every UK and British rap rap have a lot of "Uh and Ah"
I love this rabbit hole I have found myself in (I’m late I know), but there are great points on both sides. Mid way through this video I decided it wasn’t their vocals, but after seeing them speak casually, it definitely could be w/ autotune. Which is practically industry standard atp😂 In the end, it really doesn’t matter either way, but my annoying brain likes to know all the details, so I appreciate deep dives like this. Keep doing you, Ride Music 🤘
I remember back in the day when he was really popping, girls used to throw themselves at him, and I mean throw, ready to do anything to be around him. Not saying they deserved it, not at all. We women just need to judge men based off more than what they have and who their character is.
Imagine getting angry at your ex you make a diss track about her race. This has never occurred to me and that mindset stems from racism. No way around that.
Just seen this video and I know I’m very late to the party but Ashley waters “Asher D” didn’t break it with top boy it was because of the kidulthood trilogy films which he helped produced etc which then led to top boy and bulletproof etc (also made Noel Clarkes career)…I’m from south east London myself and grew up around estates and work still now on the winstanley where there from but I know that kidulthood to this day is one of the most honest real take what life what life was life back in that era
Nah that Atlanta move was wise because he put us Americans on just how good British mc’s are. Now you have artist that have Americans fans as there favorite artist like mines Millionz……lagga
But he knew one song was his and if one is he’d probably think the other one would be. No one cared. Do you know what a stereotype is? So my understanding was that they played up the stereotypes like irony, I know it’s not actually irony but the more modern take on irony
