Hi Lucy, I totally get what your going through, we all have times when we feel low and just not feeling very motivated to do anything. I’m definitely going through a tough time with my horse, she’s amazing in every way, but I just can’t seem to progress with her no matter what I do. It’s really effecting my confidence and sometimes I think what’s the point of riding her when she just stands there and doesn’t listen to me at all. I dream of going to events and doing some jumping and feeling like it’s all worth the money time and effort but at the moment I’m lost , I just don’t know how to get out of this rut I’m in. Plus I have a lot going on at home so having to juggle things is getting stressful and I literally running around on no batteries. So I completely understand what your going through. Fingers crossed we both will hopefully find our way back soon to what we love. Sending you lots of hugs and support.xx
Glad that you have come out of your depression and now you're back in the swing. Ember is a little bugger that is for sure and it's a testament to you that you persevere with him, when he can be really hard to ride. I'd really love to see you with a nice horse who's much easier and less stressful to deal with!!!
Agreed - you're human and not a robot! Thank you for including the fall - it shows that even top riders can have unexpected dismounts and that it's ok, it's part of the entire experience. I think I was told around 10yrs old that you can only count yourself a rider once you've gone into double-digits of falls, lol! Hope you've got some Arnica Ice for your hip! (or epsom salts in a bath)
I admire your loyalty to this horse Lucy. It continues to move and jump awkwardly, while being extremely tense and uptight. I still believe something is not right physically.
@@trudebower1576 if he’s not lame he wouldn’t need it but he has had a full physical work up when I first had him otherwise I wouldn’t have sold him to Lucy
Lucy i can't believe how much you put into these horses that take more than your average horse, I thought about it after you got Ember, and I look forward to every vlog you do. I take my hat off to you girl, you keep going, and every real horse person that watches this knows that your real, your vlogs are real, riding horses is not always sunshine and unicorns. I want to say he was thinking with his belly, but not in the normal way you would use that. Your jumping was brilliant once again, thank you. 😊
Lucy Lucy Lucy .... what was that ... an attempt to get sympathy wine! ( just joking)... always fun seeing you get out with the short necked lamas! little tip: don't worry ... you got this ! have fun and enjoy!
I mean, we all know that I'm a pathetic Justine fan girl, but I think she failed you here. Don't get me wrong, the coaching was just as fantastic as it always is, but I don't think Ember appreciated the initial body shaming. His mindset was clearly, "If I were pregnant, could I buck like this? Or leap like this? Or launch from this very long spot? Or race through this line so quickly? I think not!" Just kidding! Great lesson and riding! Ember is Ember and the whole team does a great job with him! Glad you are okay!
My hot little throughbred was same same to a jump "let me at em" an instructor I had helped by getting us to stop after a jump then a couple of jumps so he didn't really know if he would be going or stopping mess with his mind. Enjoy your trip.
Honestly don’t apologise for having a bit of a moan, I feel like as humans saying these things out loud is necessary. We’ll sat on the most OTT reaction to trot poles I’ve seen for a while 😂
We get you Lucy. All of us have our moments. I love how you guys were both doing your own thing out there for awhile.. LOL Poor Justine, she cracks me up. My instructor would haven been screaming his head off. Ember is feeling spicy. Man down.
You’re not a burden to share your pain. We should understand you because we all have problems in life. You’re not alone. You are such a talented rider and I love the way your ride. It looks easy. Bless your heart. 🌸
Aww bkess😅he actually spooked when he saw the lady at the roll top that wasn’t there before. I actually thought omg she’s gonna sit it😅 great jumping though, not so long ago that would of sent Embers brain into a spin but he recovered quickly
Lucy you do such a good job. It requires a lot of feel and patience and fitness and balance, AND bravery to ride sensitive horses like Ember, and the tune you get out of him is Fab. And please do moan. It’s not moaning, it’s reality, and you are human!
@@janl8683 are u talking about Justine’s real laugh or the Fake high pitched laugh that Lucy edited in to cover up the bleeps when she swore at Ember. Lol
@@rutherose23 All horse have the tendency to buck or spook. There’s no such thing as a safe horse. We all know the risk when riding but the positive outweigh the negative
The boy has so much talent and is too brave for his own good, he is epic, well done Lucy, Justine understands him so well you will be flying round the course smiling and all your urgh moments will be blown away 🎉xx
That was a great bit of jumping girls just that one little blip Lucy in the departure lounge. To be fair you rode him with great determination after that and you looked bloody fantastic. You remind me of myself when I got dumped I got back on board and rode just like you so it happens to us all the time and makes us better riders well done sweet girl and keep bloody smiling suits you . Great lesson Justine as always.tfs.🤗🏇🤗ps Have fun while your in Italy 🇮🇹
