I'm all about 3D printing, gadgets, electronics and games! You will find DYI, reviews, and some random gaming mixed in. I am on a mission to learn and I'm taking you with me!
Just got mine and unboxed it yesterday too! Love it! Not thrilled with ChituBox. Finding them to be a bit scammy where the free trial and subscription scheme is concerned. That bib is stupid. It does not fit. The side aprons are way to shallow to fit the machine.
I haven't tried that yet, but I would think one hose is enough. After you hook up the external spool go under filament, then at the top of the touch screen select external spool. Then start the process of loading the spool.
Well, that was interesting... same issue. Factory keyfob appears to be ultra-sonically welded or something. What a bear!!! I tried your method and succeeded in breaking the key end off, but NO access! Would not budge! I ended up using small side cutter nippers and slicing along the seam in the hopes I could get a screwdriver in there.... nope. So I ended up nipping very carefully from the key end, very top down, then broke off small pieces so I could see the board and not damage it. Once I had the bulged part off, I worked my way down each side of the battery compartment, breaking off pieces with the nippers and needle nose pliers as I went. Once I got most of the battery ring broken, I could slip the board out. 20 minutes. Don't forget to preload the spring so the key flips out properly and fast enough. EDIT: the screw behind the chevy logo probably is there. The new one has a screw in about the same place. Didn't see it and could not find the piece after I was done to check
Yeh, mine sucked to take apart. There have been several people that have brought up a screw behind the Chevy logo. I did a follow up video(short) with my back up fob and it had no screw in it. So I'm not sure if that was something they added to later fobs of just removed to discourage people from fixing their own fobs. ru-vid.comAKg9i6DeEFU
Thanks for the input, I'll look into putting one together. With one of the big selling points of this machine being the AMS system most people overlook the single spool.
Thank you for the video :D I am curious, did you have any problem with the bed leveling after installing it ? I have the printer for over a year and the glass bed annoyes me with small prints, because it sticks too well and I am thinking about putting a spring steel plate.
Hi, i just wanted to thank you for posting this video cause i have to move out of my apartment and was trying to pack it away but i had all this foam and didnt know the arangements to safely store it. So thanks for posting this i really appreciate it. :)
I follow the steps but something goes wrong during the reboot stage. Retropie recognizes that the pro controler is connected but either abort the emulator startup or simply skips to the main screen without ever letting me configure the gamepad. Please help...
Thank you. Took a little work on my end, but your info saved me countless hours doing it myself or money taking it to a pro. New key would have been pricy too.
Hi, do you have any clue if there's any replacements available for the plastic outer casing of the screen mines cracked and so the screen won't lie flat when I put it back down? Cheers
Mine looked exactly like this, however that little black button part of it inside is also missing, so there is nothing to press, no idea gow to fix that part.
my lcd was dirty inside, my plan just to clean it, and i break my lcd, now my plan is replace it, but accidently the front screen drop (had sony logo on it), and I check that the flexible cable PR10005 just like stick to that screen like it connect to nothing, is it normal?
