Welcome to the Family! My name is Joel. I work as a manager for a Horse Stable that is family owned and operated. It takes a lot to care for 20 plus horses. But thankfully we have an amazing group of people all working together at our Stable. We are a boarding facility that cares for Horses. We mostly take care of horses but occasionally we have other creatures and critters with us. If you'd like to know more about Horse care, From their hooves to their manes. Or if you just like seeing horses you found the right place.
If you'd like to know more about the Stable Check us out at Sunny Knoll Stables.
I love cutting grass. I used to cut our farm lawn and pasture with our small ride on garden tractor - I would do that for you for free . 😁 Did Gavin edit this ? He has great instincts and his musical choices are great !!
Joel , that hat suits you to a tee love it. And it does keep the hot sun from burning your head and blocks the sun out .Joel it looks like you have another tree down by the fence.Callie is so cute and polite so very sweet.
I enjoy watching the videos of the hay being harvested from cutting to bailing. I'm quite old and remember putting up hay as a teenager on our farm but we put it up loose and was a very hard job compared to how everyone does it now in some type of bails either square or round. We used all old horse drawn machinery to do our harvesting of crops and was a very labor intensive job. Even though it was very hard work it was satisfying at the end of the harvest because you felt pride knowing your hard work made the difference between success and failure for the upcoming winter.
In my area of the south, with the heat and so dry, gardening is done already. Can’t keep plants cool enough. Peanuts, and cotton is doing good. Most sweet corn done and field corn is brown. Cotton and peanuts have been planted on sweet corn ground. Farmers are trying to wear the soil out.
Joel doing tractor dancing! Love it, as well as the quality Callie time! Great video as always! Your channel and the Veggie Boys are two of the few that I make sure never to miss!
Have you thought about putting a spinning knob on your steering wheel. I have one on my tractor it works great. I’ve used them for years on much larger tractors as well especially when mowing around tight spaces.
Joel ... if you have concerns about your hearing you need hearing protection please. Earbuds don't do jack (NO PUN INTENDED). "Using noise-cancelling earbuds or headphones in place of hearing protection may cause permanent hearing impairment because these devices do not protect against occupational noise exposure. Using noise- cancelling earbuds or headphones may also distract you and lead to potential incidents."
When I was a kid, new technology was the film 110 camera. haha. Callie was very well behaved. A lot of times at that age, kids don't want to be far from their moms but you all have such a close knit family that she feels very safe even in the stables, which is awesome. What did the horse say when it fell? A: “I’ve fallen and I can’t giddyup!”
Joel, I really enjoyed the video today. I loved it when you and Callie were walking together together and I just love your hat. My son works at Dollywood and those are the type of hats. They were all summer long. They work very well. Looks like the hay is going great.
