My name is Joel, I work and manage Sunny Knoll Stables located in North Eastern Pennsylvania. There's always something happening as we do our best to take care of these beautiful animals. Between the weather the family and everyday shenanigan's, who knows what is going to happen next!

I've actually enjoyed the manure-centric videos. It was satisfying to see the pile getting smaller and smaller. It's kind of a "circle of life" thing. Last week i was at a very small, rural town, and I smelled a smell that indicated that someone there was also spreading manure. Instead of thinking "ew", I smiled and thought of the manure circle of life.

My favourite sound in the spring is the sound of mating frogs. Except in Kentucky. In Kentucky the sound of a million frogs mating call is deafening. (How many of you heard the frogs mating call when Petey showed you the horses in the meadow?)

Hi Joel, I did not get this comment on the video where you showed us the horses 'on the range' using your robot. That was the best ever shots of the horses running in the field. Wow, I loved that and wanted you to know how much I like your videos and look forward to each one. My brother and I live in separate households and we both look forward to your videos. When it gets solid, I use the front Forks to dig into it and loosen it all up, and then use the bucket. The forks loosen it up really good and make the bucket work easier, saving a heap of time and saving the tractor.

Joel, once you spread a field, do the Veggies Boys plow it into the soil before they plant their crops? I can't recall if they plow up the ground for grain crops or not. (Sorry - I posted this half way thru the video and you answered it already.) Thanks for the great video!

Seems like two loads per horse per year at the stable is a good rule of thumb number to use for estimating the amount of manure generated.
