Fun fact: Elden Ring is the only FromSoftware Soulsborne game thus far that has music in the open world. From Demon Souls to Dark Souls III, the only music you get is in your boss fights. Super atmospheric.
Edit: oh this is 2 months old you probably started playing already lol. Dude yea it definitely hits way different when you play the game and get to these cutscenes, this game deserves ALL the praise it’s been getting it’s definitely one of the best game of all time, my favorite is ghost of Tsushima, but this game is right up there on the same level of quality in pretty much every way. There’s some things I like better in Elden ring and some things I like better in ghost of Tsushima and to cut ghost of Tsushima some slack I’m pretty sure the makers of elden ring(fromsoft) had more money and resources so they could afford to make dump way more time and money and effort into making elden ring than the makers of ghost of Tsushima(suckerpunch) could spend on ghost of Tsushima. Ghost of Tsushima is still easily my favorite game ever, but elden ring is ALSO a MASTERPIECE, I can’t recommend both these games enough, top top quality best of the best!! It’s is similar to Skyrim in some ways, also one my favorites one of the best games ever, some others of my personal favorites that I consider to be some of the best games ever are fallout new Vegas, mortal kombat, red dead redemption 1 and 2, the original cod mw2, and mw1 and 3, cod world at war, cod 3, cod black ops 1, and there’s others too, but those I’d recommend to everyone and anyone. Videogames can be so great just like movies and shows I love em!! Hope you enjoy Elden ring bro!!!

Fun fact : in Ruthless, Poseidon said there was 43 men left under Odysseus’s command from the 600 of the beginning. However! In Underworld, it is said there are 558 souls not 557! So who died? In the original Odyssey, there was a guy named Elpenor who was just… a guy. Not beautiful, mediocre in combat or clever. And this guy got drunk on Circe’s island, fell from the roof of the palace and broke his neck. The funny thing is that nobody noticed he was missing so when the ship arrived to the underworld Odysseus was like : « wtf are you doing on this side? » and Elpenor’s answer was « f* you man! I died but why would you care since so many died under your command! » The plus extra is that in EPIC, Elpenor was totally forgotten but the headcount is still right 😂
There is 3 famous versions of the death of infant in Greek mythos. One where Odyssey killed him by dropping him from the city wall, one where another soldier did it but it was a decision made by the Greek kings and Odyssey convinced them all (so it was as if he was the one killing him) … and another where a hero Greek took the baby and used him as a hammer to kill the Trojan king Priam who was also the grandfather of the kid…
Prophecies in Greek myths are always true and will always happen. In some stories, people try to escape their faith and it always turn against them. The most famous one is Oedipus who was told he would kill his father and marry his mother. The guy ran away to protect his family but didn’t know he was adopted and in his travel he did in fact kill a man and marry a queen… when he learnt the truth, he blinded himself and left his crown.
Another fact in the mythos, Poseidon is known to have a lot of monsters and nymphs for children and he always come when they call for help. Whatever Odyssey could have said, Poseidon would have punished him since it was his son’s demand.
I always loved how Greek gods had their own animals and plants to represent them, some are so on the nose like the doe for Artemis Goddess of the Hunt and you have horses for Poseidon and dolphins for Apollo God of the Arts and Sun 😂

Miss one and you are lost! 😂 The dolphin is Apollo’s animal because he’s a dramaqueen who wanted his temple to have the perfect place and a lot of followers so he traveled as a dolphin to bring some sailors to an island 😅

You should definitely start watching the more character oriented videos of Vaati, like the Lore of Miquella (an extremely important character), also, his highest production videos are the ones from his "Prepare to Cry" series, but these spoil each ending of the game.

A Thing for Maliketh is that he was feared by all cause of the power he held with Rune of death it could kill anything permanently not to ever return it could kill in a single touch. Also Margit is Morgotts alter ego and he’s protecting the tree behind him and even tho he was not love by Marika he still loved the Erdtree. He calls everybody else traitors because they abandoned the Erdtree to follow different outer gods or purpose’s thus them being traitors.
There are other channels with very in depth research into the lore, they focus more on theorizing rather than presentation like Vaati does. Which does make room for more profound analysis, but less objective conclusions. Some of these are: Tarnished Archeologist, Queelag, Ziostorm, SmoughTown, Ratatoskr, Crunchy, etc.
This is a video about seemingly random enemies that we come across during exploration but still there is so much lore it blows my mind. Once you get to understand the lore it just lives in your head rent free. I love the lore and worldbuilding of this game so much.
The story is so scattered, you can play the whole game and not really know the story. The lore videos really helped me enjoy the story as much as I do now. Check out Smoughtown he does great lore videos too
I like it. I believe there is two types of exposition, in film or written format. Games like GoW 4 expose the story to you through films like movies would. And Elden Ring does it mostly through text like books/novels. What people don't understand is that it's supposed to be a puzzle, you don't open a jigsaw puzzle box and say "why are all the pieces scattered?" It's the point, you may not like it, but it doesn't mean it's a design flaw.
There is a reason why some of the characters have red hair. They are children of Radagon, who also has red hair. He has 5 children. The three he had with Rennala (Rykard, Radahn and Ranni) and a pair of twins with Marika (Malenia and Miquella). We don't get the see Rykard in his actual form and Ranni's actual body is dead and burnt so we can't tell if they had red hair or inherited Rennala's black hair but Radahn does have red hair, as well as Malenia. Miquella inherited Marika's blond hair. Also, Margit and Morgott are the same person. Morgott is an Omen, meaning he has horns growing out of his body. Since the order he is a part of dislike Omens, he has to hide the fact that he is one by using the Night's Cavalry (bosses your can find across the map) or uses his clones to do so, like Margit. One of his titles is the Veiled Monarch as he never shows his actual face. The reason why he puts a clone in front of Godrick's boss fight is for two reasons. One, he doesn't want anybody to fight him, as Godrick is actually quite weak and cowardly. Secondly, Godrick does something called grafting, where he attaches the body parts of other people onto himself to become more powerful. Morgott wants to stop people from reaching Godrick so he stops grafting more people onto himself.
This is something that I noticed with FromSoft's cutscenes. They minimise the as much action as possible and leave all of the fight to the actual gameplay rather than the cutscenes.
The salman khan movie you were referencing is 'Karan Arjun'. One of The classics. If you want a slice of life like movie try 'Zindagi na milegi dobara'. Its a story about three friends who go on a spain tour before one them is about to marry. 'Tumbbad' is a movie about greed. A dark and gritty story made with low budget but a lot of heart. You should also try 'Kantara'. Its about tribes living in forest, involvement of demigods in their lives also the government forest officers trying to push them out. This movie is really close to my heart. Definitely check it out.
I don’t know if you have learned this yet or know already, but you shouldn’t break the remembrances for runes. At the round table hold, there’s an old women next to these huge two fingers. She gives you weapons in exchange for a remembrance from a boss. The weapons are also related to the boss
Elden ring fanatic here gonna explain it. Also this is spoiler warning for the game and Theres a DLC warning later. Quick run down of the lore below That big tree you saw is called the Erdtree. that's where Queen Marika is at. Godfrey/Hoarah Loux (the same person) was the first Elden lord. He married Queen Marika, and they had 3 sons Morgott, Godwyn, and Mohg. Well, Godwyn died before you started the game. He died on the might of the black knives (the black knives are a group of assassins). Wrll Morgott and Mohg are called "Omens," which are considered evil in the world of Elden ring. So they got thrown into the sewers. So after they threw away Morgott and Mohg Queen Marika kicked out Godfrey and they got divorced, he left the lands between (which is the name of the map). And then we have Radagon who married Rennala they had Ranni the witch, Rykard, and General Radahn. Well, this is where things get really weird, so later you find out that Queen Marika and Radagon are actually the same person but also not the same person. So after Radagon divorced Rennala, he married Queen Marika, and they had 3 kids Miquella, Malenia, and Melina. So evern further than that tjere was "The Shattering" where Queen Marika smashed the Elden ring into different shards and since all of the childen of Gofrey and Marika, Marika and Radagon, And Radagon and Rennala wanted to be Elden lord they all wanted a piece of it. So there was a great war between all of them to claim the pieces which each one has a single piece. By defeating the bosess, you earn a shard of the Elden ring, and when you defeat the last boss, you can put it together, and you can become Elden Lord. But there are different endings of the game that you can get by doing NPC questlines that lead you to different endings. This game just came out with a DLC, which makes the lore and everything else way cooler and better. (DLC SPOILERS AHEAD DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SPOILED) Also, in the story of Elden Ring, we know that Mohg is in love with Miquella. So one day Malenia went to Radahns base in the game and they had an epic duel which ended in a tie. While Malenia was gone from her base Mohg broke in and kidnapped Miquella. Well, in order to access the DLC you have to defeat Radahn and Mohg. Well the last boss in the DLC is Radahn, but wait if we killed Radahn how is he the last boss of the DLC? That's a good question, so i said in order to access the DLC we have to defeat Mohg and Radahn. Thats because Miquella was actually brainwashing Mohg into loving him so that the Player has to fight him, and when you fight him after you've already killed Radahn, Miquella uses Mohg's dead body as a vessel to revive Radahn. Which makes Miquella evil who we thought was good. (Back to the regular game) This part is gonna answer some questions you might have Why is Rykard a snake? Well he was human but he let a snake called the God Devouring snake, eat him and they ended up fusing together. Question: Is Elden ring and open world game?
