I also adore the ending of the last animatic, the fall is SUCH a good visual representation of the "depths of despair" that Odysseus falls into after hearing such a terrible prophecy. Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it a lot!
Also, as a side note, this animatic of mine and the 2 before (not including the vids in my youtube shorts) This was my first full length video I used with a proper animation app, (i had done a 27 minute animatic to my transformers fan film. Btw, without an animation app.) So I got a little carried away with all the camera movement. Because other animatics of mine where made like a slide show on iMovie. So I just wanted to let you know If you look at my previous works off camera, and wondered why they don't look as good as this animatic. 😅 I defiantly improvised back then. Thank you again for reacting.☺
"It Has more Fluidity in comparison to the other" I mean, the whole point of an Animatic is that is a Pre-Animation. Some do make it more fluid than others, but the Animatics are animations that are not finished or still in a "Sketch/Base" form. That's how you have to see them And I would't call Jasper's Fluid, but Frenetic, too Frenetic for me personally. I have watch their "No Longer You" before, and it has some Fluid animation Parts, but most part are still images strongly Shaken to create the ilusion of movement, which is not bad in itself, some other animators do it too, but Jasper's used it too much to a point it is was distracting and confusing, too quick for my eyes to apreciate what was going on, specially when I like to propely see the moves or concept of moves and the Artstyle which I can't with their Animatic. But that'a just my case. Glad you like it since It seems to be their first longer animation, so is not bad at all, but can be better. And wish them the best of lucks. And Yeah, I liked Ximena's ending A LOT too, that's why I put it there and Wendy's artyle is just so clean and the Wind Animation at the ending too is 🤌 Also, the way everyone chooses Red is because the song says "I See your palace Covered in Red" and the chorus becomes very intense and Red makes people Anxious and it means Danger, so 😂 I personally want to do an Animatic for "No Longer You" since it became my favourite song after listening to it, BUT the way I want to do some parts are kind of Pretencious for someone who has barley Animated eyes in a Face 🤣 Everyone who does Animate, be it simply an Animatic, has my total respect for the time soent for it since I know how it is. I remember when I tried to Animate something YEARS ago, I made an 8fps little ""Animation"" for 50 seconds and even then it had some work, specially for younger me who never animated before. So I want to do Animatics, not only for this song but for my Original Characters, but I barley understand the Programm I have for it, so yeah, lets see if I can motivate myself to do the Animatic this same year before its over or if my Procastination stays stronger than me 😂😂
Yeah, I noticed to late that some of the timing for some scenes screwed up and went to fast. It took almost 2 hours to render, and only after the whole thing was finished and uploaded, and with some comments on the video did I notice it was slightly chaotic on some parts.
@@JasperTheHybrid Oh it was a timing error. Its ok, it happens, specially since you said it was your first Full-Length Animation, you can re-render the video to correct the timing and re-upload it or just be more carefull next time! But Like I said, everyone who does the Animatics has my Respects no matter what since as much as I want to, I personally haven't sat down and done one myself so I can't judge anyone just give an opinion 😂. @@sofialu226 Thank you. (Let me correct myself, again) My first full length animatic on an actual animation app. I guess I'm still used to being able to easily adjust the timing on IMovie. I used to take individual screen shots of each frame on my drawing app. My computer might explode if I open the No Longer You file again. 😂 even if I wanted to fix it, it would probably take a week to even save a single change. It is what it is.
