I have another suggestion. I request video how software engineering salary vary compared to other professionals salaries in Norway and is it enough to live comfortably ?
Its better if you can give exact figures from your experience. However I request video about work life balance in software engineering roles, I mean devops, backend developer ..etc comparison
Good afternoon Marco. I'm from Brazil and I love watching you, could you put the subtitles in Portuguese so I can follow all the videos? Thank you and a hug
Hey Marko, how are you doing? First of all, thank you for publishing and sharing this great app! :) I was using an older version of One Menu in my old MBP 2016 with Monterrey 12.7.5 MaOs Version. But then, I wanted to update the app with OneMenu 2.7 version, but it says is not compatible anymore, and as I replaced the file, I've lost the previous version. In a nutshell, how can I get an old version compatible with Monterrey? Because I'd like to continue using this great app. Thank you in advance! I love your videos man!
Not clear how to choose to me... You can denormalize data in relational db. You can also persist a tree of objects in json in a clob field. You can do partionning and i guest sharding in relational database. So how to choose ? Are NoSql db really more performant than relational db in that case ?
While I agree with the video, there is so much more to this. While at work, I am constantly unhappy with design decisions on "my" project, but I cannot change it since .... it isn't actually mine. Also I want to create something entirely different from what my company makes. So when I have MY project, I do it as I wish, the way I want it and with the aim I want it. This makes the barrier thick, denoting when I am working for the company's project, following whatever they require me to do. Then I work at my project, the way I see right. This brings piece, happiness and quality in everything I do. I am happy, my employer is happy, and things just work. Will this bring money, I dunno? I do my stuff, like it, and don't care if it flops.
Kinda sad you removed all your videos where you were in your office. There were some nice no commentary pov vlogs. Now all of these has these technical jibber-jabber.
You have not described a side hustle, or made an effective case for one. You have described a HOBBY. The language of “hustle” presupposes that all of our efforts must be monetized, which is hollow and untrue. The entire philosophical segment of the vlog makes the argument for hobbies as emotionally if not spiritually satisfying, and socially bonding. Everybody needs hobbies, and the “hustleification” of them needs to end.
I am a bit late to this , but recently i bought this exact same keyboard (im a cse student ) and i just wanted to say that it is nice seeing someone else using it !
Bro, you don't understand what a high income skill is, it means a skill that if you have yields you a high income given the demand of the market. Eg. In the past it would have been a high income skill to be a blacksmith. Today a high income skill is a software engineer. I think you are confused. High income skills are dependant on the leverage they generate my friend Please don't take any offense to this comment, I appreciate your content and want whats best for you I'm just letting you know how I would understand the term.
If one thing makes sense for you, the external opinion fades away. The side hustle doesn't have to be something highly profitable from the beginning. As Steve Jobs said: "You cannot connect the dots looking forward."
I agree, it's a reality. Having a side hustle as a software engineer not only provides an additional income stream but also helps in diversifying skills and exploring new technologies. It can offer valuable experience that might not be gained in a regular job and open up opportunities for entrepreneurship. Plus, it can be a great way to work on passion projects and stay motivated.
