I thank you much for this teardown. This is a rare-(ish) speaker adn was well worth the $40 dollars paid for it many years ago! My issue is the usb port broke inside so I need to replace it, solder in a 18650 adapter or power supply adapter. Not to hard but so many options.... "MAYBE A SOLAR PANEL CHARGER" lol Thanks again for this video!
This is good I am planning on replacing the battery in this unit. It only holds a 70% charge as opposed to it’s original full charge. It will only run 20 minutes until it asks to be charged. Thanks for making this video.
Just did all this. I used rubbing alcohol, cotton buds and even a bowl of soapy water for the plastic and rubber parts. The Left/Back button works fine now. My kids uses this remote and it was "oily" on the circuit board contacts. Works as new.
So the cloth covered grill us held in place with just clips? Got a hold of a similar sound bar, but not as long. The AC plug - in port is pushed in the mounting area. Also, can the speakers be upgraded? Thanks for the cool music! And the good closeups of the PCBs!
